My wife and I stayed at this lovely guest house again on 15 and 16 September this year and, once again, really enjoyed our break there. Liz and Mike are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Everywhere is so clean and well presented and the rooms have lots of extras that make your stay enjoyable. The optional breakfast is great, with...

I've stayed here a couple of times in different rooms and it is lovely in every way - friendly welcome, good sized and well equipped rooms, tasty breakfast where even the museli, granola and yoghurt are home made. In the rooms quality is evident and they've thought of all the little things that make a difference - from the hotel...

Room to cramped for comfortable relax, same for bathroom Useful as quick stay over but not for any longer. Distance to town fine, if walking is what you enjoy. Traffic noise was noticeable, and again fine for 1 nights stay, but no longer. Too pricey for what it offers.

My friend and I stayed one night. The room was lovely and homely. We loved the honesty bar, such a lovely touch. The beds were so comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was to die for. Breakfast was amazing, tasted delicious and products locally sourced. The home made granola was beautiful. The host Mike, was friendly and welcoming and...

Needed somewhere to stay overnight between flights at Manchester airport. This was a great choice and just 15 minutes away by taxi. Our room had obviously been recently renovated and was clean and modern with a cute little ensuite. Beds were comfortable, lovely big bay window, tea making facility with fridge, a very nice room overall. The following morning Mike...

Stayed for a week during February as I was moving to the area and looking for somewhere to live. Was perfect for my needs and the owners were very accommodating, professional and friendly. Stayed in the single room and was perfect for my needs. Wonderfully cosey and included wifi, coffee/tea. The minibar snacks are very welcome and very cheap. Liz...
