We did a bike tour from London to Portishead and stayed in The Gotha Villa as our final destination. We loved our stay, had a big room with big bathroom and a gorgeous view on the cost of Wales. Great food and view in the Pub nearby, nice walks along the cost. The best place to rest and relax !

We have stayed in many bed & breakfast establishments and this one is by far the worst we've experienced. There was a complete lack of hospitality and we were made to feel very unwelcome. We were prepared to overlook the fact that it was very basic and shabby accommodation but the rudeness of the owner was just not acceptable. How...

Gotha Villa is exactly as described on its website: a characterful house, located close to local amenities. The cosy bedroom overlooks a terraced garden as does the sizeable bathroom, which has a shower and an elegant roll-top bath. Elizabeth is a very friendly host who has, evidently, taken safety seriously: the bedroom is equipped with a smoke alarm and extinguisher,...

Absolutely fabulous! Welcoming, friendly and above all clean! Local for town and amenities, close to links to Bristol. The view is of the bay and across the bridge to Cardiff is amazing. And the bath in the en suite is to die for!! Thank you Elizabeth for your very kind hospitality x

The view from my room was spectacular. The room was lovely and the breakfast everything you could hope for. I would certainly always stay here when in the Bristol area. Elizabeth was a lovely, friendly host - I even was able to take Bramble, the dog, for a walk on the beach.

I have stayed at Gotha Villa a number of times. The views over the Bristol channel are brilliant and sunset over Wales on a clear evening is superb. Elizabeth is a fine host and Bramble is a friendly dog.

The weather became dark and raining, we left her cash 55 pounds and my HOME address and my phone number in her note book, then...

These people did not stay in my home as they were aggressive towards me after arrival. They complained about a fire door and did not understand about fire regulations. They were refunded their money and I requested they leave as they were being abusive.

I have stayed in a great many b&b's and this is one of the best. Fantastic views from the room. Elizabeth could not have been nicer, making me feel very welcome, with some great stories about the area. I recommend this place without reservation.

Paid £55 for a room that was freezing during the night and didn't include breakfast. Before we went out we admired the view through the window and then locked the door. When we returned the curtains had been shut, host had obviously been in the room. Customer service is below par. Would not recommend.

I spent two nights at Gotha Villa and would highly recommend. The owner Elizabeth is very friendly and hospitable and made me feel very at home without being intrusive. I have to admit one of my reasons for choosing this B&B was lovely Bramble, the resident golden retriever, who is just beautiful and a real gentleman. I stayed in the...
