Another lovely visit at Holly Cottage. I had to do some work nearby and to save travel, stayed over. Always a great spot, but reassuring to see all appropriate precautions re safety aspects relating to Covid in place. Always a a hearty and tasty brekky, but on this occasion got to enjoy an evening bowl of fresh minestrone soup made by Janet from fresh veg From the garden. The whole stay made my work fly by. Thoroughly recommend!!!

The hostess, Janet, gave us a very warm welcome. We had a comfortable night and a delightful breakfast. Her tea machine is amazing. Janet also told us about the history of Woking and Hook Heath, which was fascinating. This was our 3rd stay. We shall be back. :-)

Janet is a wonderful, caring and extremely helpful host. I felt totally at home. I arrived on a repatriation flight and required accommodation. Janet placed all in place, and arranged for me to be isolated at one end of the hpuse away from other guests. I was given a large, comfortable bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom as well as the room alongside which she changed into a kitchenette, with toaster, microwave and bar fridge. She went the extea mile once again by stocking the fridge with read-made meals and all. All this to make my isolation bearable - In the room I had a large TV and coffee machine as well as a kettle. My time spent at Holly Cottage, all 14 days - was fantastic. I wanted for nothing. The kindness shown was immensely appreciated. Holly Cottage is located in the quiet and beautiful, treed area of Hook Heath. It is within walking distance of Woking town centre (20mins walk).

Thanks Fiona. It was a real pleasure getting to know you during your "isolation" stay and I hope you will return at some point when the rules are no longer in place. Take care Janet

I had to vacate my home in Woking pending a move to another home 3 weeks later. After some ugly duckling Airbnb offerings, I then found Janet’s lovely BnB via a recommend. I stayed a total of 10 nights and it was a pleasure. The room was lovely and cosy with tv and nice tea/coffeee/Bicky’s However, the real treat was Janet’s fantastic breakfasts!!!! In addition to hearty fare, Janet would throw in some variety on request, with plenty of great coffee to get you going. It was also very interesting to chat with Janet and her other guests on a variety of different topics over those lovely breckies. The combination really made my stay so nice.

We stayed here for one evening whilst attending a friends’ celebration in Woking. They recommended we stay here and we would like to reciprocate. Clean, friendly and quiet, with a lovely fresh cooked breakfast, we were well looked after by Janet. We would stay again, definitely.
