Detailed Reviews
Stayed in the Ocean pod for three nights. The pod was very comfortable and had everything we required for our stay - cooker, bed, seating and powerful shower. Balevullin is a gorgeous location and the Sunset Campsite's elevated position provides panoramic views over the beach and surrounding areas. In the evening we took the short walk to the beach and was blown away by the sunset. Then awoke in the morning to the beautiful sight of the sunrise. Lorna, the owner is delightful and left us wanting for nothing. Highly recommend the Sunset Campsite and will be our choice to stay when we visit the island in the future.

+1
Very windy when I arrived on Tiree. Lorna had text to ask what time I was arriving at site. I got off the ferry and Lorna was there picking up a friend. She took my paneer bags back to the campsite with her which was amazing as I had to cycle against a headwind to the site. When I got to the site Lorna helped me anchor down my tent. Thanks Lorna! Site was perfect, very clean, 2 minutes walk from a beautiful beach. Only thing missing for me with a tent was a fridge and maybe a microwave. It is a 6 mile cycle into town for fresh supplies but I managed. Lorna recommended a cycle to Balemartine which I thoroughly enjoyed. Had the best time on my trip thanks to this friendly couple who run the campsite and their lovely dog Maddock!

Lorna was sooo helpful and kind. The facilities are perfect & soooo clean for what we needed, the beach is a 2 minute walk in a perfect location. We loved how the campsite was small and intimate and not crowded. Would 1000% recommend, we will be back!

We just spent the best, most relaxing week in Aurora pod at Sunset Campsite. The pod had everything you could need - hot shower, comfy bed and one of the best views from any accommodation on Tiree (even from lying in the comfy bed). Lorna was the best host and nothing was too much trouble. Great location for all water sports, cycling and walking. We cannot wait to come back. This will be our no.1 choice from now on. For those who are interested, there is a great 4G signal…. But you don’t need to use it!

Had the best time at sunset campsite. Super chill setting, sunset and beach views, warm shower, and run by a lovely couple and their cute dog Maddock. Perfect location for surf/swim/watersports as only a 2min walk to Balevulin beach. Pure bliss.

Small but perfect campsite on the west coast of Tiree, overlooking Balevullin beach and the Atlantic. 2 minutes to the beach. Basic facilities but brand new and spotlessly clean. Pitches are generously spaced and a relaxed and chilled out feeling site. Lorna the owner is super friendly and helpful. Massive recommend!
