We've just spent 5 days at this Mill. The location is truly stunning. We were met by Chris, what a jovial guy and an excellent host. He was so friendly, informative and helpful. He gave lots of recommendations on where to visit and to eat. all were very good. Chris and Paula ensure that the apartments are spotlessly clean and have everything you could possibly need. Also thanks for the welcome "gifts", we really appreciated your thoughtfulness in providing tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and Welsh Cakes, just wanted we needed after our drive. There are many walks in this pretty wooded valley right from the door. Also within 25 minutes you can be at the coast walking on vast open beaches and visiting delightful towns, eg Aberaeron and Lower Fishguard. We also visited Tafarn Sinc and Pant Mawr Cheese in Rosebush, both very unusual and great food. Also a wet fish van came to the Mill on Wednesday, the smoked salmon was delicious. If you want to relax each apartment has its own sitting area or just wander into the gardens and sit on the benches on the riverside. We saw an otter, lots of birdsi ncluding a kingfisher and birds of prey soaring above the trees. If you're feeling more energetic then take one of the walks and then jump into the hot tub or swim pool. If it's raining, no problem you can have an indoor bbq. We've done lots of self catering all over the UK but this place really is the best - for hosts, location, well furnished and clean apartment, as well as the stunning countryside and seaside nearby. We loved it and highly recommend staying here.

My family and I have recently returned from the property. For city dwellers we weren't prepared for how quiet it was but we were over the moon as it allowed us to totally relax together, something we all needed after the last year and a half. We appreciated the gifts on arrival and the warm welcome from the owners, they ensured everything was right for our party from the minute of our arrival until we left, nothing was too much for them as they recommended beaches for the children and longer walks for the adults, places to visit & eat etc. NIce to have a fishmonger visiting in his van which made the bbq special that evening. We loved the hottub under the stars whilst the children toasted marshmallows, the communal area is planned so that you can all enjoy it whilst doing different things, it's beautifully maintainned, scrupulously clean and well lit. We loved the Mill and have recommended it to our friends, they were so envious seeing all our photos! Can't wait to return. Thanks Chris & Paula for your wonderful hospitality.

We have recenly returned from our 3rd visit to this property, it's just what we needed to recharge our batteries. The peaceful valley setting is quite magical and the river runs through the perfectly manicured gardens. We saw a kingfisher, buzzards and an otter, what a treat. Since our last visit Chris has added many bird boxes and feeding tables so the variety of birds throughout the day will delight old and young, definitely bring binoculars, children will be enthralled. On our previous visits we didn't think the accommodation could be improved upon but during "lockdown" the owners have installed new bathrooms and redecorated. The apartment was stylish amd very comfortable, everythink you think you need is provided. On arrival Chris says if you need anything just ask, you won't find a more jovial or helpful host. He also gave us ideas for walks ( Cwm y Eglwys and Crymwch Falls), pubs to eat and to visit nearby Cardigan (Hiut jeans where the "rich & famous" order custom made jeans. We highly recommend Godremamog Mill for any age group, there's plenty of room in the meadow for games, local walks, relax in the gardens, outdoor and indoor bbqs, hot tub and a swim exercise pool - what more could you want. In addition everything was spotlessly clean, in excellent order and well lit in the evenings. We can't wait to return.

Ling time choosing and no regrets. Absolutely beautiful, really well kitted out. We've self catered lots so carry tea towels, sharp knives, salt and pepper etc and had no need of anything - even pool towels were provided. Really appreciated the cheese, crackers, coffee, tea, buns and milk left.

Beds felts very soft so didn't anticipate sleeping well but slept really well (even allowing for the stream - ladies!) Spacious grounds allowed for cricket etc. Dogs appreciated the lovely walks.

Driving is not for the faint hearted... It's a water mill, in a valley so prepare for single tracks and steep hills with blind bends.

All amenities need a drive but we wanted that.

Chris was an outstanding host full of local knowledge. The library of books and DVDs was impressive.

Would definitely visit again and are hoping one of the family will invest in a swim4 pool!

We booked this as a fairly last minute stay for Feb half term, 2 adults and 2 children. From when we booked until we left Chris was a great host. We arrived and Chris showed us round, told us how to use the hot tub and gave us advice in where we should go to make the most of time there. We were not disappointed with the recommendations, coastal walk, beach, and pub lunches.
The kids loved the hot tub/pool and we made use of the BBQ hut (even though it was chilly but hey nice and warm inside!)
The apartment itself was lovely, enough space for the 4 of us, fully equipped kitchen and we were able to request a few changes which Chris was more than happy to accommodate. (Heating to come on earlier - my kids like to get up early!)
I would definitely recommend coming to stay here and enjoy the walks, countryside and sound of the river right outside your window. Beautiful place - we will be back.

What an amazing break we have just had. Our fantastic host, Chris greeted us with a warm welcome. He recommended day trips and restaurants not just within the local area, but suggestions that were personalised to our interests. The apartment itself was cosy, fully equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds are super comfy. We made full use of the hot tub, swim spa and tranquil grounds. We can't wait to return!

We were lucky enough to find this place for a short break away and it exceeded expectations. The location is peaceful and secluded in a lovely valley. The nearest neighbours are about 5-minute walk away and the road leading to the property is very quiet. We had the whole place to ourselves, so we could use the Hot Tub and BBQ Hut whenever we wanted. There was also a swim-spa which we did not use. Chris & Paula were very welcoming and knowlagable about the area. There were some lovley treats for us on arrival includng Welsh Cakes. We will certinally be visiting again when we can.

We just returned from a truly memorable stay in the beautiful Mill. The pretty gardens are the perfect place to relax with a book or explore the nature on offer. The hot tub and pool timetable ensures all guests can enjoy the excellent facilities on offer with their family and friends. The charming mill is well kitted-out with everything you could possibly need, including kitchen a range of supplies, pool towels, DVDs and box games to entertian the family. There are many magnificent beaches to visit within a 20 minute drive and charming towns to wonder, such as Cardigan, which is a 20 minute drive away. This is a truly special place which is bound to exceed your expectations.

We stayed at Godremamagon mill and hired 3 out of 4 of the apartments within the mill they offer.

Each apartment was clean, comfortable, and most of all relaxing.

The property was outstanding, the grounds were outstanding, the hot tub and the BBQ hut were absolutely amazing. On a bonus they allow dogs in one of the apartments.

I would definitely recommend staying here, it is very peaceful and quiet.

The hosts were very very friendly and had excellent knowledge of the area.

Had a fabulous stay at Godremamog Mill. The setting is beautiful, and the apartments are extremely clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The facilities are fantastic, and it's such a wonderfully peaceful location to relax and escape the day to day. Suggest taking flip flops if planning on using the hot tub as there's a short walk to the apartments but what a beautiful backdrop to look at while relaxing! Paula and Chris were very friendly and helpful, and gave great advice on places to visit. Would recommend to couples and families as a lovely place to stay, will be booking again.

There is a very nice pub 4 miles away (about 10 minutes in the car) which does great pub grub and is family friendly. There are also lots of great pubs, cafes, restaurants and take-aways oin Newcastle Emlyn, a lovely market town, also 4 miles away (again, about 10 minutes in the car).
