The 1940's era home is fully renovated and filled with family heirlooms and bits of local history and colour. most importantly Pat is always fussing about, baking delicious treats and generally making sure you are...

Patricia, our hostess with the mostess, has been doing this a while so she says, and there's proof in the pudding (or should I say sticky buns;). This bakery aroma greeted us and her other guests the afternoon we arrived. We were given a tour of the common area; a beautifully kept heritage home with curiosities worthy of a museum....

We stayed here for one night on our way to St. Brides. Patricia is a wonderful hostess and really knows her history of the area and NL. She gave us a tour of her lovely home pointing out her family pictures and historical items. We had a nice large room with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom with...

We stayed here for two nights and because we were late booking we got the room with no ensuite. I was a little worried but it was not a big deal at all. Steps from our room and just for us to use. It was spacious and very clean. The room was perfect for us as well and again very...

I'm sure people must run out of superlatives when it comes to reviewing Pat and her historic home. A minor mix-up when we first arrived was promptly and professionally resolved, and we were able to relax in our spacious suite and enjoy some chilled refreshments in the garden gazebo. Island view is a heritage house and mini museum of which...

The property is perfectly situated on main St. across from Random Island. The home is filled with memorabilia and family heirlooms and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Patricia is a kind and friendly host who just...

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. Host Patricia very knowledgeable of area, and makes the best sticky buns in town, which are available day and night. Our room was very large, as was the ensuite, with our own private entrance and parking area. Bed was comfortable, and there was a large flatscreen TV in the room. Breakfast (bacon and...

We stayed with Pat two nights while headed out west to Gros Morne NP and one night on the return trip to St. John's. Pat is so warm and welcoming and a wealth of information and history on the area. We stayed in the handicapped accessible room off the back and found it to be perfectly set up to accommodate...
