.... I decided to go even with the bad reviews because some of the reviews were saying that it was clean. It wasn't the case for me. My room wasn't really clean when i got it and my bathroom had mold on the faucet. The Air conditionning was working, i had a bed to sleep and hot shower I didn't...

The only reason I booked this place was because of its location, we jumped on the ferry early morning (on time, no problems) and arrived to culebra, walked across to the hotel, checked in at the bar which also serves as a front desk, they gave us a room in the second floor, there's no elevator so try to keep...

I like to travel cheap, which means that I have stayed in my fair share of dumpy places during my travels, however Hotel Kokomo Room #4 has made it onto my top-5 worst rooms list. Small room. Air conditioner was capable of cooling the room about 5 degrees F below outside temperature, possibly due to the fact that the windows...

Management non existent. Rooms dirty with left over rice on bedside table. Electric plug on top of your head while showering. Bathroom smells of mold. Stay away if you can afford it!!!!! The island is worth the visit but can perfectly be done as a day trip.

If the karaoke bar downstairs doesn't stop you from getting a good night's sleep, you'll find that your room has a squeky spring mattress that makes your back hurt while you keep switching the horribly loud AC unit on and off, trying to find an equilibrium between noise and tropical sweatiness. Some might also be concerned about the lack of...

Ok like most of the reviews I agree it isn't five star but your not paying 5 star prices. I had a great room double bed with attached bathroom. It's the people right from the cleaner up to David the owner. Made my stay very easy and enjoyable a special thanks to Jessica with her company and tips on the...

I rented room with a shared bath that was shared only with me! The room was clean enough, claustrophobic- well yes, bed comfy..well.. no...but here is what you have to realize... Puerto Rico in general does not have deals like you would find in DR or central america... and being an island of Culebra everything is more expensive. So... with...

First of all, I should say that I only have experience of the two bedroom suite on the third floor. The one bedroom warrens on the second floor are just too claustrophobic for me. The suite, however, was quite spacious, had many windows, a nice deck, and the aforementioned two bedrooms, one of which was large enough to accommodate three...

For a last minute overnight trip to Culebra, very few hotels/B&Bs were available, and the few that were wanted $200+ a night. Luckily, Hotel Kokomo had availability. Despite the miserable reviews, I booked the "penthouse suite" on the top floor. The back bedroom had AC and a OK bed. The music from the bar next door can get loud, so...

This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in...I'm 51 and have lived in several countries, the desk clerk was physically filthy and drunk, the owners live somewhere else... this place is not just a blyth on Culebra, it is also a dismal example of how badly an accommodation can be when the owners clearly don't care about...
