We had a family reunion dinner for over 50 people in the main dining space in the historical Collits Inn. The food was delicious and the service was done well considering the number of us in the space available. There was a beautiful coal fire burning when we arrived that lasted all night. The building has all original features, low...

This place is awesome. History, views and character combined with comfort, great food and friendly people. And so peaceful. Fabulous venue for a wedding … it's simple, elegant and very romantic. And the staff totally know what they're doing :)

Collits Inn is an historic gem for us all to enjoy. Built to serve travellers in 1823 as they crossed the Blue Mountains the fact that it survives today intact is a miracle. The hosts here are Chris and Sheryl. Really lovely people and Chris a great chef. They can't do enough for you. The rooms are cozy and full...

The people that own and run the Collits' Inn are just amazing. The owner took us on a little tour around Mt York, Hassan Walls Lookout and sour rounding areas out of his own time and the knowledge he had about the history of the area was very informative. It's a place you must go and eat, stay and enjoy...

We had a great overnight stay in this beautifully renovated old inn (built 1823). We enjoyed dinner (and a nice bottle of pinot noir) and a hearty , mostly healthy breakfast. If you need a vegetarian meal you will definitely have to book ahead. Our room was a very comfortably appointed small suite. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and...

I had the pleasure of recently staying at collits in for the wedding of my best friend. The Inn was booked for the entire weekend and had guests stay in the rooms while bridal party had the cottage - great, clean comfortable beds with beautiful little touches here and there ( bath salts and bath milk ready for a relaxing...

We needed an overnight stay before beginning a 4WD trip from Jenolan to Wombeyan Caves. Thank God we chose Collits Inn. Wonderful history, beautiful rooms and a lovely dinner and breakfast to add to this perfect stay. Very out of the way and quiet location, but well worth the time. Thankyou to Cheryl and Chris for your hospitality, and for...

We were so looking forward to our Mothers' Day lunch, but left Coliits' Inn disappointed. We ordered three Main courses - the chicken, the lamb and the pork. The pork arrived dry and overcooked with no crackling. The menu had stipulated crackling and when we got the crackling, it was inedible. The waitress would give us a discount for the...

Staying at Collitts Inn, eating a delicious dinner by the fire, enjoying the company of the hosts, spending a couple of hours in the history room, drinking a glass of wine on the 200 year old verandah while looking out at a beautiful valley...all adds up to a stay that we will never forget! Highly recommended !
