We stayed here for a weekend in September 2016 and had the king suite. Claire, the owner, was hospitable and well-organised, including accommodating an early check-in for us and providing delicious homemade shortbread! The suite is beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. It's a warm and well-insulated suite with underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom. It's an...

We stayed in the duo suite (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment) over the weekend and there is nothing at all to fault with this luxury accommodation. Every detail is thought of. We loved relaxing with a bottle of wairarapa wine in front of the fire. Thank you Claire for such a lovely night away.

It's always a bit of a lottery when you book somewhere to stay across the Internet. Uncertain as to whether previous reviews are genuine, sceptical as to whether the pictures are actually a true representation of real life. Well this place exceeds on both fronts. We stayed in the King Suite downstairs with direct access to the street and from...

We stayed in the studio upstairs at the back of the property which was private and relaxing and quiet. The room was beautiful and clean. There was fresh shortbread in our room. There was even an ipad for our use which was a luxury. Its a short 5 min walk into the heart of Greytown with ample wonderful places to...

Supremely tranquil and beautifully decorated. Claire is as warm and thoughtful a Host as one can be, having thought of every small detail to maximise comfort. I will never stay anywhere else in Greytown apart from here.

Gorgeous inside and out ideal for two couples with adjoining apartments, we had an open fire although we didn't need it as the home was so lovely and warm. Delicious home baked biscuits were provided and delicious smelling toiletries. All within an easy stroll of many eateries and a 15 min drive of many wineries.

We stayed here over Easter and had a fantastic time with our friends, superb accommodation, everything was great from the inside out - to the amazing gardens where we could sit and have a cocktail in the evenings. Great hosts in Claire and Kit, Claire is lovely and could not have been more accommodating, we would definitely recommend this lovely...

This is an amazing property, well furnished and made me feel at home. I had the studio room, tucked away at the rear of the property with plenty of privacy. Property was quiet and I was able to go to bed early. The property also had cooking utensils which I was not aware of. Would definitely book this place again...

We booked the king suite for our wedding night and had the most fabulous stay. Claire took care of everything and nothing was too much hassle. The room was immaculately prepared and stunning. The extra touches that Claire had left for us on our wedding night was truly going above and beyond what we expected. The breakfast we had previously...

Superb place to stay. Beautiful old house, fully restored with excellent facilities. Enormous rooms. Very good breakfasts. Very close to town for shopping and food. Lovely gardens to rest in during the day. Slightly noisy at night with all the trucks, but not really that noticeable.
