We stopped here instead of the Natural Bridge KOA to try something different the night before Thanksgiving. They wouldn't let us leave our water hooked up because of freeze concerns (hey just run your sink a little and it won't freeze) Wifi was super weak and water pressure on our hillside location was so weak when we did hookup that...

We usually stay in Natural Bridge KOA but it was booked for the Labor Day weekend. We decided to stay at Staunton KOA and booked a single room cabin. I called ahead and asked how far is car parking for the cabin and was told it was just near the cabin, which worked for us. We arrived late on Friday...

We stayed for one night in our 40 ft. MH towing, as we were traveling south for the winter. The park was beautiful and we'll maintained. The staff we all very nice, and the owners were gracious hosts. Will definitely keep on our YES list, and recommend to others.

I stayed for one night at the campground in cabin DK8 during a short road trip. It was an excellent choice -- the cabin was clean, cozy and way nicer than some hotels I have stayed at. I slept like a rock. The grounds are lovely, especially the pond. The staff was really friendly and helpful, too. I look forward...

Me and my family have been camping here for 25+ years. It was always a great place to go. The previous owner Steve was great, treated you like family, with respect and all the staff was friendly. Our family use to stay 3-4 different times each year. Now with the new ownership we MAYBE get there once a year. Each...

I pulled in early. NO Problem. They gave me a site immediately. I ran out of eggs and because it is off season they had no eggs at store. What did the owner do? He gave me two of his eggs. Now I can have a great breakfast tomorrow. Love this campground. My highest rating.

I am one of the campers that travels with Mrs Kay from below and while I did not witness the incident she described over Halloween I have been witness to the lack of customer service in other incidents at this campground as well. We are all local campers that pulled to Walnut Hills about 2 to three times a year...

We have been camping at this facility for 8 years. We have enjoyed going there because it is close to home and fairly quiet, except for the occasional dog left unattended, and the traffic related to the constant comings and goings of semi-permanent residents, most of whom seem to be staying there because they are working in the area. We...

I'm sorry that you had such an unpleasant time at our park and that we were unable to find a resolution to this situation besides asking your party to leave. As we discussed with your group, someone in your party was traveling in excess of 25 mph the wrong way on a back road and nearly injured campers walking. Given...

We were here in mid October and really enjoyed our stay. We had one of the full hookup sites around the lake. Mornings and evenings around the lake were very relaxing. Very nice facilities and an attentive staff. My only negative was the fire ring placement at some of the sites. Ours was only a few feet from our neighbors...

Lovely, well maintained KOA with lots of trees, grass, large pond, huge dog park and even a maze! We are 50+ feet with the tow car and we have lots of extra space at the front and rear of our site. Our site has a patio, a wooden 2 person swing, gas BBQ, fire pit and a round wooden picnic...
