This was our third trip back to the Foster Harris House Bed and Breakfast and we were delighted again by the hospitality provided by John and Diane. It began with a wonderful glass of red wine upon arriving to begin to relax into a vacation mindset. Our room was complete with a newly renovated spa shower bath and comfy robes....

The Foster Harris House has all the charm of a country bed and breakfast with the privacy and serenity of a boutique hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The hosts, Diane and John, have thought of every detail to ensure their guests comfort and relaxation. We highly recommend Foster Harris House!

Our 3 night stay at John and Diane's Foster Harris house was a fantastic experience. The biking, the food, the wine, the hospitality and the new friends we met we all combined for a truly enjoyable weekend. The bike rides were as scenic as you can imagine. However, I would recommend that you come in decent biking shape as some...

My husband and I spent the night at the Foster Harris House this week for our anniversary celebration. Having never stayed at a B&B before, I had nothing to compare it to but I know without a doubt that I've been spoiled as I can't imagine that any other B&B (or hotel for that matter) will compare to John and...

What a find! We have enjoyed the comfort and hospitality of John & Diane many times, and the breakfast served each morning is just unbelievable. The warmth and attentiveness of the owners makes you just want to stay forever! It is the ONLY place we stay when visiting in the area.

We were going to the Inn at Little Washington to celebrate a milestone birthday, and wanted to stay nearby for a couple nights. We chose the Foster Harris House based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed in the least. The B&B was charming, our room and bath were immaculate and very comfortable, and the gourmet breakfasts were absolutely delicious....

I arrived mid-week with a friend. John greeted us and asked if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions and if we needed dinner reservations. I told him I was lactose intolerant and we had a gift certifcate for Thornton River Grill in Sperryville. We walked around the town and then drove to Sperryville. When the server was telling us...

Friends of ours invited us to join them for the Tour d'Epicure. They promised great riding and even better food. It was even better than they described. However that wasn't the best part. What made the trip so great were our hosts, John and Diane. As soon as we arrived they made us feel right at home. They took care...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Foster Harris House for the Tour de' Epicure. It was awesome! The food was delicious, the cycling was great, and John and Diane truly made us feel at home. We stayed in the Garden Room on the ground floor and it was clean, comfortable and we slept extremely well each night. The...
