Food, wine, and view is amazing. Very relaxing. The use of all digital equipment (phones or tablets) is "restricted". So don't plan on relaxing while you wait by reading your digital book or playing a game on silence. This policy is only in force randomly. And not for everyone in the room. Hint: Don't ask for napkin/fork combo to eat...

The Chrysalis is a beautiful, typical Pacific Northwest boutique property located literally feet from the edge of Bellingham Bay. Our room - a King Corner suite - was enormous, beautifully furnished and appointed. A comfy window seat with water view, huge bathroom with double sinks, jetted tub, shower with double shower heads, every amenity in the suite that anyone could...

Room was cozy with a fireplace and bath tub for too (really plenty big). Bring your own bubble bath or favorite lush add ins, they have some in the room but they are at an up charge. We had dinner room service of steak, chowder and the smoke salmon plate, all were very good. We had brunch in the restaurant...

This was our second trip to the Chrysalis. We are making it an annual tradition. Amazing couples massage, delicious happy hour specials, wonderful soaking tub. I recommend a room on the third floor with a full view. Try the fish tacos and the garlic aoli fries at the restaurant, delicious! Definitely take time to soak in the large two person...

Everything about this lovely inn is easy: so easy to access & park, quick check-in by mellow, friendly desk staff, short elevator ride or walk to rooms/spa/restaurant/walk-way to pier & waterfront. Rooms are pretty darn flawless. Just be prepared for train noise all night as they run directly in back/view side of hotel. Love that you can grab a trail...

On the recommendation of friends from Phoenix, we stayed at the chrysalis Inn & Spa. The rooms were well appointed, with extremely comfortable beds. Our room, looked out over the water and the pier. As many have mentioned, the train tracks run between the hotel and the water, but having grown up in Illinois close to the railroad the sound...

We just spent a night at this hotel in the Fairhaven district of Bellingham. Great location by the water with comfy, well designed rooms, good restaurant and nice staff. Spa was being remodeled but we will definitely plan a return visit so we can utilize those services. Wonderful Northwest vibe to this property near shopping, bars and restaurants in old...

Room exceeded our expectations and was exceptionally comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was absolutely delicious and a excellent amount of seasonal choices. The location is near the ferry dock which was an absolute boon for those traveling the Alaska marine highway.

I stayed here on an overnight tip to Bellingham. The room was great! The food was great! The service was great!! The only slight downside is the one coal train that goes by at night. But other than that it's a lovely quiet peaceful hotel and a great value. I'll def go back here when I come back to Bellingham.

We stayed in room 204, it has a panoramic water view and an enormous bathroom with a separate shower and jacuzzi tub. There's a pony wall beside the tub with sliding doors to block off the top half for privacy, and if they are open you can see the water view or watch tv from the tub. The restaurant there...
