About 1 block off of I-5 right along Hwy 504. Clean, large rooms. Good size bathroom with adequate shower. The beds were a bit soft for my liking and the rooms were too dark with the supplied lighting. But, overall a good place for a night or two and you will save some money here.

This motel is conveniently located near the Visitor’s Center and food outlets. The room was clean and had two full size queen beds. The receptionist was very friendly. Unfortunatelly, the air-conditioning unit was very noisy and we couldn’t sleep. Free pastries (donught type) are served in the lobby for breakfast.

We stayed here on our way to Mt St Helens Volcano. Price was good, room was clean. Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, it was Alitalia like a step back in time to more simple days. It was a nice change after the usual modern day hotels

Ok so this is an old hotel that has been spruced up. It was very clean. I was a chambermaid in a past life and usually cringe at places that give this first impression. SPOTLESS! Owner was a delight and so friendly. She had lots of answers if you ask the questions. Breakfast was fruit and sweets and coffee ...as...

A friend from S. Calif & I stayed for two nights, as it was conveniently just off Interstate 5 & on the road to the Johnston Observatory at Mt St Helen's. It was very clean & had good beds, nice lobby. Our host, owner Ellen Rose, was very accommodating when we asked to change rooms mid-stay. Thanks, Ellen!! Carol from...

this is an old place and looks like a truck stop from the road. But the rooms are spotless and the price is a bargain. Great pasteries fro breakfast -- but pasteries is all you get. Great restaurant next door.

Ellen - the owner - is very interesting to talk to. She is the mayor of Castle Rock and persuaded us to have a walk around this small town. Well worth it - my perception of small town America. We had room 109 on the ground floor. This was a bit quieter - it overlooked an empty lorry park so...

Wish I could find such a motel moe often. We found soap and dryer sheets in the laundry room and offerd to pay but the staff declined saying they were put there for the guests without charge. No conventional brakfast but fresh pastries from the local bakery.

Clean and comfortable, no problem. A bit of hallway noise due to it being an older building but otherwise everything was immaculate and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on short notice. About 50 percent higher than across the road as far as rate. Bed was a bit hard for my taste but it was ok....

Great stay here visiting Mt. St Helens during vacation of a lifetime early July 2016. Clean place, good beds, a/c that worked, and nice clean towels. Easy walking to good restaurants. Reasonable rate. Good value for the rate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Needed roll away bed for 5th person and it was clean and comfortable. Coin Laundry in hallway...
