I really appreciated the ambience and the historical decor. I loved the movie theater the most. The town itself is full of antiquities. The food is fresh and delicious! Definitely a great weekend sneak away.

Stayed here over night on a short trip from SEA to Portland. Didn't know exactly what to expect, had never been to any of the McMenamin's hotels. We were blown away. This place is like stepping back in time to the 1920s. Don't know how they convinced their investors to do what they have done, but it is fabulous. They... More

What a treat to find this in Centralia! Driving from Seattle to Portland can be abore, but a stop at this sweet old place can re-energize you for the rest of the trip. Good food, great staff, fun place. Worth the stop! Didn't stay at the hotel, but the theater has comfy seating and bar service.

I was not expecting Centralia to have such an amazing place. I love the decor. The food and service was great. They offered a gluten free option for the pizza crust. It was one of the best we have had.I want to single our Megan for the superb service despite being so busy.

this is a funky old building with a nice, if slightly eerie feel. the rooms are reasonably priced with euro style baths down the hall. it has the quaint mcm feel, but unfortunately also has the uncomfortable beds and the very noisy street outside. it was hot- in the summer you will die without opening the windows, but the street... Not my favorite Mcmenamins......noisy! One 'connected' bar/room. This is a place for serious drinkers. As I am not one, I didn't enjoy the experience. Others in my party thoroughly enjoyed this! I would take the Edgefield, Crystal Palace, or Grand Lodge because of the area and soaker tub! It's me, clearly---everyone else loves it.

I booked a room at this hotel because it is pretty inexpensive and I love the McMenamins properties and have visited many. While The Olympic Club has similar food and atmosphere, it is not one of my favorites for a few reasons. If you are traveling with children, the restaurants closes to minors at 9, which limits what you can... More

This was my second visit to McMenamins Olympic Club in the last 7 years. I really like this place because the rooms are reasonable and it's not the 'normal' hotel stay. The pub has vastly beer, you get a free movie ticket with your stay, coffee and the paper is waiting for you in the morning. Ear Plugs are provided... More

It was our second time to stay at this eclectic hotel. Each room is themed to a local "old-time" citizen, with their story told on the walls. Shared bathrooms are novel for this traveller but are fine. Definitely LGBT friendly and welcoming. We have eaten several meals at the restaurant and they have been delicious. He only negative thing is... More

I am going to complain a lot about the trains even though I enjoyed this hotel, restaurant, and movie theater. We bought a package that included massage oil and a bottle of champagne. Without any reminder, it was in the room when we arrived. Their webpage says "You may hear the lonely, soulful sound of the trains from your room".... More
