My husband and I were looking for places to stay during a short trip to Port Townsend. I had come up with 3 places to pick from and when my husband saw this bed and breakfast in the choices, he said for sure that's where he wanted to stay. We couldn't have been happier with our choice! Leading up to...

What a wonderful visit. Best I have slept in years, what a nice spot to remove ourselves from the city life for a few days. Wonderful farm prepared meals and the conversation was lively. We will definitely come back.....and recommend to our friends.

We were doing a tour of the Olympic peninsula and San Juan Islands in September and decided on Solstice Farm as one of our places to stay. We like the idea of organic farming, farm to table foods and supporting local operations such as we thought this was. The website included a lot of information about the farm operation and...

We celebrated my 50th birthday by spending a weekend at Solstice Farm B&B, and it was a fantastic experience! The house is very clean and beautiful with very charming architecture and lovely farm views. We were able to walk around and explore the farm--and see the adorable sheep, pigs, chickens, and farm dogs and cats! It was a excellent break...

My husband and I only stayed one night, but the next morning, my husband asked me, "Can we stay another night?" Farm stays are not just for kids. So, what's not to like? The room was big and comfy and very, very quiet. There were local guides to view and read. The farm is only a twenty-minute drive from Port...

Solstice Farm and owners Jim and Linda are the real thing. Our second floor room was spacious, well appointed (not over-furnished as some B&B room are) and cheerful. The 3-piece bathroom with large shower functioned well. This room has a nice balcony with a couple of chairs for relaxing, and giving lovely views of the valley, garden and sheep. The...

I have been driving by Solstice Farm & B&B for awhile, always slowing down to look closely at building projects, new crops, the animals...as Jim & Linda have turned their land into a special place to overnight, put in an order for meat for your freezer, and pick up a dozen eggs or so. Finally stopping for the grand tour...

Let's start with the bottom-line: if you have kids and they like feeding animals, or hunting for eggs, or petting animals, or riding on tractors, or harvesting gooseberries and garlic, or digging in the dirt... they will LOVE being at Solstice Farm. And that, ultimately, is what made Jim and Linda such great farm ambassadors for our family - the...

We were celebrating our friend's 68th Birthday. This couple each grew up on farms in Indiana. They were enchanted by the feel of a real farm and all the details it takes to make it work. Host Jim is the most entertaining host. Rooms and breakfast were great and the animals and equipment were explained for us non farmer types.
