This was my third stay at the Waterstreet Hotel but the first time in the winter. I had a second floor corner room with several old, cracked windows. I asked for a space heater and had it on full blast all night and the room was still cold. I wore a wool hat and down vest over my PJs to...

This was our second stay at the Waterstreet Hotel. Our first visit we stayed in a basic room with a bath that faced the street. This time we stayed in Room 5 on the second floor. This room has a king size memory foam mattress just like we have at home. Very comfortable. Although the two nights we were there...

Interesting architecture and lots of photos giving the history of the building and the area. The rooms are spacious and there is a lot of variety in the type of room - everything from an inexpensive room with a shared bath to a suite sleeping six with a deck on the water. Our room was right next to the staircase...

Friendly on check in. Very affordable. Fascinating building and just keep in mind she's not updated and opulent as the Palace tries to be at much higher prices. We explored the building a bit because I'm here to tell ya- our room was haunted. Apparently by a housekeeping type. And we're not the type to jump to that conclusion. It...

Stayed for a weekend at The Waterstreet Hotel. The rooms have great water or street views. The room we stayed in was nice for the buildings age. This place is a good value in the off season. The only conditions to be prepared for is they don’t have assigned parking for people staying here. If you have a lot of...

Right next to the water. Easy to park the car downtown and then just walk around the city. Went for a budget, just $55 on a sat in October. Shared bathroom, but the room was hugh -- loved looking out of the window right downtown. The upstairs does have an old, musty smell, but after a couple of minutes I...

Very reasonably priced rooms. Very clean, comfortable and fun. It's right on the water downtown. It has great ambiance. Feels like a whole big vacation even when I just drive up from Olympia for one night.

I have stated here that I stayed at the Waterstreet Hotel in November 2015. I actually stayed in September 2014 but I'm only just getting around to posting this review now and TripAdvisor doesn't go back that far. So apologies for any confusion. From what I could tell, the Waterstreet offers the best quality $50-$70 per night rooms in town....

This hotel is billed as a very nice old, quaint hotel in the heart of downtown Port Townsend. It is in the heart of downtown. It is old. However, it has seen better days. We were in a third floor suite. The rooms were tall and the staircase to the second and then to the third floor was like climbing...

I often visit Port Townsend during the warm months and have stayed in most of the downtown hotels. The Water Street Hotel is on my short list mainly due to location: on the downtown waterfront overlooking Port Townsend Bay. The exterior of the ND Hill building is looking better than ever (I remember it being really beat during the Town...
