Mt. Gardner Inn is well located at the edge of town in Winthrop. My ample sized modern room and bathroom were very clean with lovely pine furnishings. The room was well lit and cozy with an excellent heating system. The room was stocked with the usual hotel sundries, including microwave and refrigerator. The room had a spacious entry way in...

We had the fun experience of losing power during our stay during single digit weather! The staff was so quick to respond, making sure to bring everyone lanterns and flashlights. They solved the problem quickly (almost too quickly because we were having fun playing games by lantern) and were very gracious. We stayed in a pet friendly room and it...

Thanks to Mt Gardner Inn for our family holiday gift to ourselves. The location is amazing to walk in to Winthrop and it's restaurants and access to getting trail passes and friendly helpful information. Just back from a few nights at this delightful inn. Great base for a cross country skiing trip. 5 minute walk to town trail system and ice skating rink. 10 minutes to town for shopping and eating out. Temperatures were in the single digits, but we were very happy to be toasty and had plenty of room for sorting all...

This was the perfect place to stay for our first time in the Methow Valley. Everything we needed was there, pet friendly, comfortable beds and super convenient to Winthrop for dining and browsing. The proprietor was so very kind and helpful in every way. Our stay was over Christmas, and they left a thoughtful gift of ciders in our room...

A friend and I come to the valley several times a year and love this Inn. It is close to everything, clean, charming and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and there ia sweet view especially from upper floor, but first floor is very accessible for anyone struggling with stairs. The price is right too!

This was a perfect place for us. It was close enough to the town of Winthrop for us to walk into, about 15-20 minutes. It was also close to where our friends met for the days activities. It was great!

It was a nice place. It was really great having our own deck. There was a living room area as well as the bed. The bed and the couch were kind of stiff, but not bad if you like that. The shower was really small, no bathtub, and room only came with two towels. The soap and shampoo was good....

Thank you, so much, for your thumbs up. We are pleased you enjoyed the Ptarmigan room with its couch/seating area, vaulted ceiling, and deck with Cascade views. We also appreciate your compliments regarding the amenities in the room. We are proud to offer high quality Starbucks coffee and the ultra luxe Paya brand shampoo and soap line. We supply all...
