We camped in one of the riverside campsites, which I think are more private that the others. We were close to the newest bathhouse and man was it fabulous. I usually complain about the design of shower facilities at state park campgrounds and it was like KOA read my mind. They did everything right. There was a shelf to put... More

We stayed here 3 nights in a pop-up camper. What I like most about this campground is the terrific lawn area. We had a great lawn next to our camper to set up our screen house, which provided additional shade on hot days. The watering by staff was paying off! The campground was off the primary highway so highway noise... More

Such a friendly staff, awesome location right on the river. Very clean rest rooms and they have the ones that have a private shower, sink and toilet all in one private room. The cabins are great but make sure you get the ones with AC, not all of them come with it. Plenty of parking for extra vehicles and a... More

Well maintained and clean campground. Warm pool, no hottub tho. Close to town. Lots of deer grazing close by. Our main problem was that next door a hot air balloon is setup early in the morning. 6:30 am. Seeing the balloon on the first morning was cool...but when the noise would wake up our toddler that early each morning it... More

What a lovely town Winthrop is, we were doing Cascade Loop and decided to go there for a cup of coffee,it was a wonderful surprise. People were great, plenty of choices for a snack or full meal , ice cream and of course coffee. We had a delicious dinner at Carlos Mexican restaurant and the went back to Marblemount via... More

For camping, clean efficient and accommodating. Excellent newer showers older ones still do the trick. Lots of cabins and deluxe cabins, RV and tent choices. Great staff! Pool looked nice and shuttle will take you to town or help you travel for tubing. Close to everything.

This is by far one of the best Koa 's we have stayed at. Beautiful setting, clean, friendly office staff. Highly recommended if in the area.Bathrooms were very clean and private. Streamside sites all obscured by tent campers though.

I've been here 2 times in the last 3 years and have always enjoyed the stay. Very well maintained grounds, clean bathrooms, very friendly staff. Pool is also heated which was a plus on a unseasonably cool day in June. Definitely a recommendation for anyone looking for a place to camp in the area.

Stayed for 3 nights. The grounds are very tidy, and restrooms were nice and clean. Staff were fantastic at check in (we stayed in our travel trailer). Quick and easy check in. My boys wanted to watch the Stanley Cup game, and we can't get TV reception in our trailer, so they asked the staff in the store if they... More

Everything was clean and well kept up across the board. We stayed in a cabin and it was cozy and clean. The bathrooms are updated and again, extremely clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The playground, pool, and bike rentals made this campground a great time for kids. I felt safe allowing my child to ride his bike around the... More
