A Governor's Inn is unlike any other B&B that we have ever experienced. The home exudes history and charm, but even more than those, it feels totally peaceful. Charla and Jack demonstrate hospitality as easily as they breathe. The gourmet breakfast is like that at a first-class restaurant. My husband and I stayed at the inn last May, and were...

My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days over the Labor day weekend and we decided to stay at the Governor's Inn. The home has amazing history, architecture and is very well maintained. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The highlight of the stay had to be the homemade breakfast by...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in July. We have not been to very many bed and breakfasts but this one far exceeded our expectations. Char and Jack are a perfectly lovely and friendly couple in addition to being fantastic hosts. The breakfast was amazing every morning, and different every morning. The house is gorgeous and has...

My husband and I had business in Buckhannon and chose to stay here. We were so impressed with the accommodations and the owners who put their hearts into taking care of the inn and their guests. It was very clean and beautiful and best of all, the breakfast was outstanding! Many praises!

My wife and I stayed the night at this B&B for my wife's birthday. We had never been to one before. We didn't really know what to expect, but our room was beautiful and Jack & Charla were so welcoming. They took wonderful care of us and we woke to the most amazing breakfast we had ever had. I work...

We had an exceptional 2 nights here. Buckhannon is a lovely little town in a gorgeous region. The Inn was beautifully decorated, historic, and spotlessly clean. But it was the graciousness of the owners that impressed me the most. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. And I can't say enough about the...

I stayed in the inn overnight on my way to visit my son. Everything exceeded my expectations! My room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotless! Owners, Charla and Jack, were full of advice about the area and friendly talk. Breakfast was superb! I will stay here again! Oh, I almost forgot-you can't beat the price!

We booked this B & B for our family because our daughter wanted to visit WV Wesleyan College. It is in walking distance from the college. This is one of the nicest B & B's we've ever stayed in and so affordable that we got two adjoining rooms; our children stayed in the room with a door between the rooms....

This was my first B&B experience. I had to beg my husband to try it. We both loved it. Charla and Jack are so gracious, and we soon felt at home. The house is absolutely gorgeous and filled with interesting history. Charla met us like we were family, let us freshen up after a 7 hour drive and gave us...

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is magnificent; a restored mansion that, yes, was the Governor's. The breakfast was fabulous and featured some historically correct dishes. There are chocolate chip cookies during the day. We even got to take some cookies for the trip home. Our hosts were wonderful, welcoming and helpful.
