We had another wonderful holiday stay! The staff at the Lodge are exceptional! Dee and Mitzi at the front desk we so accommodating and Kathy and Pam in the restaurant were on top of the food! The Thanksgiving buffet was even better then last year! We had a great time and hope to do it again next year!! Thanks again...

I attended my company Christmas party in the Conference Center part of the Lodge. It's absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly and the food was out of this world and pleasantly surprised me on the quality of the food. Did not use the rooms.

This is a great location for anyone looking for a place to stay in the mountains. It is right in the middle of the State Park and offers hiking, fishing, horseshoes, and trails for your four wheelers.

Absolutely beautiful lodge tucked away up the mountain. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, main area super clean and beautiful. Continental breakfast could use some improvement. They had had boiled eggs 2 mornings and no other eggs or meat. Need to work on their wi-fi. Was looking to possibly use the conference center for a corporate meeting in the future,...

The Lodge is right off of the interstate but is located on a mountain top with a curvy, winding road but definitely worth the short drive up. The lodge is decorated beautifully and the Mountain scenery behind the building is gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful as well and very clean, Complete with a playground for children and a beautiful fire...

I called and the lodge gave me a great price because I was coming for a funeral. I loved the lodge. It was clean, rustic, cozy, and relaxing. Our first night the power went out and we woke up in the dark. The staff did their best to make the guests comfortable, including making coffee, biscuits and gravy via grill....

The lodge was very nice and quiet. The room was clean and up to date. We stayed on the second floor and it was very quiet. We ate in the restaurant and the food was ok, the ribeye was not worth the price. My husband had the copped steak and he said it was very good.

I have stayed at most of the WV state park lodges and several in other states. This one is a bit newer and ranks up with nicer hotels. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. I must say when I was there the main a/c unit to the building was not functioning correct and it was a bit warm in...
