This is a beautiful, classic B&B, on both the outside and the inside, in our favorite West Virginia town, Shepherdstown! Our room was lovely, with nice and thoughtful features, a comfortable bed, and was beautifully decorated. We love that the bathroom had a number of racks and hooks for hanging towels and clothes, and a little shelf to put things...

We booked most of the rooms here for our family reunion, making a long weekend of it, and using this as a base for visits to Antietam, Charles Town, Harper's Ferry, Virginia, and Shepherdstown. The B&B retains its 19th-century charm but provides all the modern amenities. We had room 6 at the end of the upstairs hallway. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a seating area, a corner fireplace, good lighting for reading. I was in town for business and Thomas Shepherd Inn was recommended It was a very pleasant experience,everything just like home and the owners were great hosts. Breakfast was delicious and conversation with other guests interesting I would recommend the Thomas Shepherd Inn to others and hope to return
