This was one of two three-bedroom suites located in Top of the World. Initial impression walking down the third floor dark hallway trying to find the room was disconcerting. The recessed entry was even darker, but we found it. We were pleasantly surprised once we entered the suite. The rooms and furniture were in good shape and it was clean.... More

Don't stay in room 104 pull out bed gave me night terrors thought I was on a stack of medal had to sleep in chair. Room was gross nasty poop stain in toilet. Had to put in for housekeeping just to get towels. Got towels 2hrs later. Loved snowshoe skiing but would not recommend Top of the World very outdated.... More

My wife is picky about accommodations. I was really nervous about the mixed reviews, so I paid extra for the deluxe unit. We are in unit 214 which is 1br with a kitchen and small living area with a pull out couch. It's great and my wife is happy. Not a lot of noisy. We're away from the bar area... More

Top of the World is on of the older Condos on the mountain but it's very conveniently located. The units are dated but have everything you need. The Soaring Eagle lift puts you right at the rear entrance and there is a bar/restaurant on the bottom floor. Me and my brother have stayed here for the last ten years on... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Top of the World Condos. We chose the location for its proximity to the easy-in, easy-out lift directly outside the door to a nice Green slope. The condo itself (and interior) are very worn, and smell a little odd. Most amenities are in line with a 2 star hotel, budget saver but you are... More

The location itself is not within a walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. It is right on the slopes so that was a plus. Overall nice family oriented place if your kids are old enough to ski.

Top of the world is a good place to stay if the reason you are in Snowshoe is primarily to ski. The rooms are located right on the slopes, and it only take 5 minutes from your room to the ski lift. The rooms are well furnished, but were quite noisy and smelled a bit musty. Basically, don't go there... More

Stayed here during a recent snowstorm which made it great for ski conditions, but my travel mates were less than impressed with TOTW. We had 2 rooms and they had the same layout, but the decor, furnishings, and even appliances were very different. To be expected from privately owned condos, but you may end up with a really clean/modern unit... More

The Top of the World was an ok place to stay at. Nothing to fancy. You basically get what you paid for. It felt like an old college dorm. The plus side was that it had direct access to the slopes and decent restaurant on the ground floor. As for the room, it looked like they could use some updating.... More
