Went when we bought a Groupon. Disappointed. Not well maintained, super thin walls, rude service, needs coffee or snack shop, expensive food. Past its prime. beautiful lawn and grounds, but lacks basic amenities.More

Always a tough question to answer! If it is just the two of you, Shore Lodge is an excellent choice for couples as it is adults-only and very closely overlooks the water. Any of the rooms in that cabin would be excellent choices--Shore Lodge 1, 2, 3, and Shore Lodge 5 rooms are probably most common for shorter stays since Shore Lodge 6 has a full kitchen. Other great choices would be Allison 2, Harry 2, Katherine 3, or any of the eight Douglas/Wilson rooms (these two cabins are pretty much the same). I hope this helps! -Emily
