Recently my husband and I were on a hiking vacation and spent 2 nights at Hotel Monte Sella. The host Norbert is wonderful. He is very present and comes to check on how his guests are enjoying meals and helps with any questions or problems. One night we all had very wet boots as it had rained while we were...

We stayed there for 1 week during our ski vacation. It was a great experience. The location from the hotel is perfect for skiers and non skiers. With only a few minute walk you on the slope and in the middle of the small village. There are a lot of possibilities to hike and enjoy the nature if you do...

Spectacular Art Nouveau style hotel in the heart of the Dolomites. Those who enjoy hiking, skiing, or those just needing the comfort of a spa hotel can find what they want here. The proprietor arranges evening concerts, afternoon hikes and barbecues, etc. Beautiful setting, delicious and sumptuous food. Elegant and homey at the same time.

This beautiful gem is nestled in the mountains and worth the stay despite the gorgeous setting. The hotel is family run and all are welcoming and helpful. The hotel is lovely, the good a wonderful combination of Tirol-Italian goodies. Breakfasts are not to be missed.

My family and I stayed in Monte Sella in March. Our superior room was very big and staying with 2 kids was comfortable. My mum had a single room in the original building and the view from it's balcony was breathtaking. The location is very good for skiing. You do have to cross a street to get to the slopes,...

What is the most wonderful about this place is homey atmosphere, stylish interiors, best service, smiling, kind and very helpful staff (thank you all!), modern and well equipped and organised SPA/pool area. The location is perfect - a few steps from gondola that takes you to Kronplatz (no directly,...

The Hotel is located in front of the ski slope and the gondola station - perfect for skiers. Service was excellent and every member of the staff was ready to help of each guest for everything. The food is not bad but is not so exceptional as we expected after reading all the reviews here. In other hotels in the...

We stayed here for a couple of nights on a walking tour in the Dolomites. The staff and proprietors made us feel most welcome. The new pool and sauna were lovely, as was the new dining room. Although the hotel was not full at this time of year, it was a lovely spot. The food was very good. My only...

I stayed here as part of a summer walking tour of the Dolomites. The Monte Sella is well worth the stay. It has a newer section, but the original section with its Art Nouveau decor and features is lovely. My room was a corner room and was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The views from my room were stunning. The...

“Rooms with windows on the road are noisy during the night, you will have to close the window to sleep.”

“Ask for room on the second or third floor, because on the first floor (above the reception level) is the corridor leading to the fitness and swimming pool and it is very noisy. Also ask for the room with a balcony - you will receive a small room anyway (unless you pay for a suite), so it will be better if you have a balcony, it will be some bonus.”
