The campsites are very close together and little to no trees in the camping area. The bathrooms were not ideal and very poorly ventilated. The list of rules for this campground was outrageous. The front desk staff were not very enthusiastic during check-in. We did not use the 'funzone' so I have no comment on that other than it is...

Came here because it is close to our son in Wildwood IL. Initially they gave us a free pass for my son to come in the park to see us. But the day he drove a different vehicle and the pass was in his wife's car and she was still at work, they made him pay $10.50. We and my...

We went to Happy Acres for an overnight stay on our way to Illinois. It seemed like a typical family campground with swimming and other activities. For us it was fine. We parked, sat outside at night, walked the dogs, etc. For an overnight stay it's fine. You are paying extra for all the amenities you aren't using. That seems...

Happy Acres Kampground is very close to family we were visiting, so we decided to give it a shot. The campground has a 'Mom and Pop', family - run feel. We stayed in one of their small cabins with our son. The small cabins have just enough space to crash for the night: 1 full size bed, a set of...

If you enjoy swimming amidst piles of goose poop and paying to shower in a tiny stall that reeks of cat pee....then this is the place for you! Book now if you enjoy spending your hard earned dollars on"firewood" that burns like toothpicks, $7 frozen water, $13 frozen pizzas, and a$30/KID wristband to enjoy one of three rides that are...

Stayed here with my family. Too many rules, what type of dogs are too dangerous to bring, no guns, and they never answer the phone. They never answer emails. They are too into politics and not I to customer satisfaction. Stay away and go to Jellystone or another fine location.

I love Happy Acres. It's filled with the happy sounds of kids playing in the pool, in the lake - everywhere -on weekends and can be quiet and meditative mid week. I look forward to staying here and do every Summer for as long as I can fit in. Not a resort, but nice clean well maintained facilities. Llamas, goats,...

Looks like this is a great campground for families with children - lots of activities. We were only passing through and stayed for one very rainy night, but the staff made us feel welcome and were very helpful with directions to some local businesses.

This was the first campground we had ever been to, since buying our pop up. I wanted to wait to write a review until we visted some other places. Now, every camp ground, even some K.O.A. all need to work on the mini golf areas, but I have yet to meet anyone that use mini golf as the reason to...

I have visited many campgrounds, happy acres is the worst! First off the rates are way too high considering you have to pay separate for a wristband for the kids to play at the happy zone. Second customer services- the staff is rude, yelling at the kids for no reason. Third in the happy zone is an inflatable pool with...
