My spouse and I have been coming to the Bridgewater Inn for many years. We have been coming up there long before the current owners took over. This place is very old and could use allot of updates, however, it is still a lovely place to stay. We have a boat and we love being able to have the boat...

My wife and 2 kids took a boating trip from Three Lakes to the Eagle River chain of lakes this past Labor Day weekend and we thought it would be nice if, at the end of the boating day, we got a room to say in rather than rushing to make it back before dark. A few days before the...

If you get a room on the lower level - that is the back of the motel facing the river - it is a beautiful view. And you won't hear the highway noise in the back (although maybe boat noise in the summer.) However the rooms themselves have some issues. I love quaint old roadside motels, so it sort of...

After arriving in Eagle River at the original place we rented and being thoroughly disappointed we were lucky to find the Bridgewater Inn. Carol and her husband Marv showed us around and set us up in a room perfect for us. This property is wonderful. You can walk to downtown or the grocery store and yet it is on the...

I called Bridgewater for a reservation for one night a few days before I was arriving, Carol gave me the rate and confirmation for the one night, great looking forward to it. Then I arrived after a 9 hour drive, upon check in was told the rate for two nights, assistant at the desk tried to change the reservation and...

My boyfriend and I went up to Eagle River for a snowmobiling weekend. Marvin & Carol, the owners, treated us like family. They drove us to the rental facility so we wouldn't have to figure out how to get our truck back to the motel while riding 2 snowmobilies. Marvin led us on a wonderful, scenic tour on the trails...

Look...this is not a four star resort. It is a family operated "inn" in the most traditional sense. That sad, my kids LOVED it...I MEAN LOVED!!!!! it. The fishing was great. They just went way over the top to make sure we had fun. They knew we were on vacation and made us feel like we were the center of...

“to have a quieter room, get one down below on the back side of the hotel. Rooms at the top will have traffic noise.”

“Front is upper level and faces highway. Might be noisy from traffic, but at least you wouldn't get the noise from rooms above. Lower level is back of motel and faces river. Chairs outside to enjoy view. Very beautiful, but you might get river noise, and you definitely get noise from upstairs.”
