Some of my criteria in rating a hotel includes the quality of towels and toilet paper. In this instance, both were above average one would find in most hotels. We had a very nice room with a view of the water, close to a pool. It was a relatively large unit and having only a queen sized bed was a...

The resort upgraded the pool towels this year, and many guests have said how much they like them. The resort is an all suite property. There are one-, two, and three-bedroom suites. Some have Queen beds and others have King sized beds. In total there are 16 different room types - and beds, number of baths, number of bedrooms, and...

The good: the environment is absolutely breathtaking. Even the non-waterview side is very pretty and park-like. The rooms are large enough (we had 2 adults in a one BDR suite). The kitchen is serviceable, but don't expect to cook a gourmet dinner in it. Now, the bad: the place is showing it's age. In fact, there were signs announcing a...

I do apologize for the issues encountered. We wish to provide a positive guest experience, and do for the vast majority of our 30,000+ guests. A call to the Front Desk, and they would have sent a maintenance person to address the blinds, sink, etc. The soda machine is provided by an outside vendor, but we certainly would have reimbursed...

We love our stay every time! So much that we decided to buy one! We own a one-bedroom king bed wood view condo and we loved staying there. The staff is always very very nice, and the view can't get much better. Plus the whole Resort as a whole is getting a complete upgrade in the next two years. Our...

Thanks for your review. Each unit is individually owned, and they are bought and sold through a realtor. There are probably 15-20 suites up for sale at any given time. And yes, we are all excited about the $4 million in unit updates planned for spring 2017.

The Landmark resort is set on a beautiful property. The view of Green Bay is amazing. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, outdoor play facilities. A restaurant (wasn't open until Wednesday and we were there on Monday and Tuesday). However the unit was extremely small, dark and unkept. Decor was straight out of the '70's. Carpeting in halls and unit seemed...

Just south of the Village of Egg Harbor, the resort is located on a bluff overlooking the Bay of Green Bay. The property consists of 40 wooded acres, with four lodging buildings (Flagship, Harbor, Navigator, and Charthouse). Every unit is individually-owned, and has a unique take on Door County charm. The suites are relatively small by today's standards. Each suite...

We liked our room.. comfortable beds, comfortable common area. Definitely could use a few upgrades, but it was nice and we were very happy with it. We used the indoor pool... definitely had a great location for it... just down the hallway for it. The staff was really nice.... very kindly upgraded our room as the one we reserved was...

Thank you for your review. The indoor swimming pool is a highlight for many families visiting the resort. The indoor pool is ADA compliant, heated, and open 24/7. Within the pool area is a large whirlpool, steam room, showers and locker rooms. Very close by is the game room and fitness center. The small coffee station is 15-20 feet outside...

The room was clean and had a nice outside view. The main room contains a seating area, table and 4 chairs, and kitchenette. The bath is a little small and dimly lit, but adequate for two people. The bedroom accommodates the bed with little extra room. We chose to drive into the shopping area as it is a bit of...

Thank you for your review. The resort is 30 years old, and the suites are small by today's standards. At the same time, the standard suite has a kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, bedroom and patio or balcony. Obviously, the two- and three-bedroom suites have considerably more space than a one-bedroom suite. There are 16 different types in total....

Stayed here for four days for a family wedding. The Landmark Resort was a great gathering spot for our families. We rented seven rooms in the navigator building and all were clean and well maintained. The decor in some were a bit dated but still acceptable. The grounds was quite beautiful and we loved watching the sunset over Green Bay....

Thanks for your review. The beautiful grounds and scenic view are often noted by our guests. Located high on a bluff - part of the Niagara Escarpment - the resort has a great many spots to overlook the sparkling waters of the Bay of Green Bay. My family and I have been staying at this "resort" for over 20 years off and on. More recently, I have been coming up here with my mom and my aunt. We are all pretty laid back and like to have a good time. In the past couple years, a few issues have come up. We mainly come here to...

Thanks for your review. And thanks for being a loyal customer (over 20 years). Unfortunately, there is very little that can be done about another family enjoying themselves - and dominating an area. The resort does not have a policy or rule either for or against saving chairs. If a staff person came to review the situation and saw everyone...

In the past I have not taken the time to write reviews, good or bad figuring that my opinion is subjective and I would not want to turn anyone onto or off from staying someplace. After our recent stay at the Landmark, I decided I better change that to hopefully save someone else from such a bad stay. Upon our...

I am writing this review as I sit late at night in my room. This hotel is by far the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Any noise above you is heard clearly. I'm sorry that you experienced a number of noisy guests. The resort encourages quiet time. It can be difficult to enforce. The resort has security on staff, and will send staff to check out any complaint. Often, the guests are not loud when this staff person arrives. Ten minutes later you can go through the same pattern. Unfortunately, these things...

“All the condominium suites are basically configured the same except for bed type. Some have patios, some have balconies. Also, you are asked at reservation if you prefer a woods or water view. Their website has a photo gallery and detailed explanation of amenities.”

“Bring your food and snacks. Room had nice kitchen for prepping food. The room would have been nicer with a fire place but it was otherwise very comfortable. Bed was a bit on the firmer side of you don't mind that. Second loft bedroom was cozy with small tv. Master bedroom on the main floor was spacious with patio area and large tv. Living room had comfortable seating.”
