Not a fancy place but has all that is needed for a good fishing trip. I go on an annual fishing trip with a friend, Efficiency motel has what you need 2 beds, bath with shower, kitchenette, grill. It is close to the boat landing. There is a bar across the road. Great fish cleaning station across from motel. There... More

The Big Musky resort is not a chain hotel/motel resort. Rather it is a resort run by individuals that care about you and yours. It is wonderful to see "real people" helping to be of service to guests that are also "real people". The residents of the trailer homes at the Big Musky are the "Best People in the North... More

Look this isn't the Ritz, its a small resort with about 6 hotel type rooms and two cabins. I've have stayed at this resort several times for fishing and last year we booked most of the resort for a family get together. My mother is picky as are several of my other family members so I was really nervous inviting... More

Stopped in here while on our Crazy 8 tour collecting "stamps." When we walked through the door it was as if we had walked into the living room of some strangers house in the middle of a family potluck. And were not invited. Outside of the grouchy bartender, it was hard to distinguish who were the employees and those that... More

Place is a dump. Cabin smelled like an ash tray. Furniture looked like it was picked up off of the curb. Dishwasher door was stuck shut. All of the pots and pans had baked on food and were sticky. We were lucky they gave us a refund and we were able to find an opening at Deerfoot Resort. Deerfoot was... More

Difficult to find info online, so I am sharing my experience. Toilet, bathtub and shower in one room, 2 queen beds, bathroom sink/vanity, dresser, loveseat couch in main room with small alcove for hanging clothes. Small (dorm sized) fridge with very old, small microwave, coffee maker, basic satellite TV; sliding glass doors to patio which has plastic table and 4... More

Scott Lake is wonderful and the people are friendly. You may even catch some fish if you try a little. You can't beat the scenery on the lake or on Hwy CC. There are houses for rent for large groups and a small motel which is adequate for sleeping 1/2 persons per room. Wildlife around the lakes is abundant with... More

This resort is not one for a week stay for families. Not only is it not a very well kept resort, there's not much to do for the kids. The motel is on site but the rooms are poor and dirty. If you're a hunter/fishermen, not showering for a few days, these rooms are perfect for you. The rooms are... More

I would not recommend this place unless you don't care about how clean your room is. We were in room 1. It is a kitchenette type, the coffeemaker was filthy. Toaster - ditto. Microwave could have been cleaner. Tub/shower was filthy. The bathmat had been in there so long there was rubber stuck to the tub, the bathmat it's self... More

“Lake side rooms have patio and tables -- rooms on resort side do not. This is a basic, no frills motel providing a place for travelers to sleep in a great location. They allow short stays and pets...very FEW resorts on this lake will do that. Nice to have this option but need to accept it for what it is..great for long fishing weekends.”
