We stayed two nights at the Maiden Rock Inn, in the Aubergine room, and would have loved to stay for a week. Our room was great and Jennifer & Gary are great hosts. Loved checking out his extensive selection of lp's. Lots of fun things to do in Red Wing, hiking in State Parks and shopping in Stockholm. A wonderful...

A friend and I just stayed here last night on a girls' getaway weekend. We were initially unsure of what to expect, but this experience surpassed our expectations. Gary and Jennifer greeted us by name immediately and Gary gave us a tour of the eclectic, renovated old schoolhouse. There seem to be stories waiting in every room (ask to see...

This is not your typical B and B. The hosts are friendly and spend time with you, if desired. When you walk up the stairs and look into the professional kitchen where Jennifer spends most of her time, you know this is going to be special. The old school was slowly and meticulously turned into what it is today. The...

Gary and Jennifer were wonderful greeting us by our first names the first time that we met. They have done an incredible restoration job on the old school house. Great décor and wonderful food. We had a fantastic time and will return! Bob & Dena, Social Circle, GA

First time here. It is an old school house so it has over 16,000 sq. feet. The rooms are spacious and clean. We went with some friends and we had the Aubergine room and they had the other on right next to us. Both were lovely and different in their own ways. We had the jacuzzi tub which was wonderful...

This place is charming. The owners were delightful and even Audrey the dog was fun. I loved waking up in the bright yellow room hearing the roosters across the street. I agree with Annonymous the breakfast was odd. But it was deliciously odd.

I did not know about the Maiden Rock Inn until neighbors recommended this unique B&B. We decided to stay here one recent weekend when we celebrating my birthday with our daughter from the Twin Cities. We have been to some 50 B&Bs and this is the only one in a former schoolhouse, the only one with a sauna, and the...

At the end of my mid-week one night stay at the Maiden Rock Inn I concluded that one night was not enough time to appreciate all this very special B&B has to offer. I drove away planning a return visit. My 5 star rating/review would likely echo the other positive reviews so I'll try to be concise. I loved everything...

We stayed there a bit ago and very much enjoyed the setting. The only thing that was disappointing was the dinner food for breakfast. Roasted meat, vegetables and a starch at 9:00 a.m. on a weekend morning is not what we were looking forward to. There were no food options for those who did not want supper for breakfast
