We went for a wedding. The grounds are some of the prettiest I have ever seen. The changing of the tree's made it stunning. The weather was perfect. The resort not so much. When we arrived very late (almost midnight) on a Wednesday we were greeted by a wonderful women behind the desk. I'm glad she was knowledgeable regarding the...

The rooms were awful. Two full size beds, rock hard, no fitted sheets. My wife and I slept separately. Tube tvs, no fridge in room. Pool, hot tub, work out facility get tetnis shot before you go. Staff was nice!

I have to qualify this review in that the area did have above average rain amounts the week before our group left for this weekend trip. But what I saw with the greens at this 36 hole facility was unacceptable; burnt out areas of the greens, snowmobile tracks, inconsistent rolls. One of the Par three holes was completely shut down....

The best thing about this place - the wait/housekeeping staffs! They were very nice and offered to go above to make our stay pleasant. The rooms are VERY dated. Our room was musty smelling and carpets/bedding felt damp. Bathroom was SMALL and the hair dryer in the room didn't work. I saw a wasp on one door when walking down...

We booked this resort for our honeymoon and were expecting something special, what we got was less than that. Driving up and walking into the lobby were the best parts, it was downhill from there. Although the staff were very friendly and attentive, the resort itself could use a lot of help! The website boasted about bars and fine dining,...

Mt grandkids and I visited for 2 days. This area of Wisconsin and the hotel's property are gorgeous. The hotel, however, is a little rough around the edges. I'm sure the hotel gets 'beat up' a little during ski season but there are some things that are pretty bad. Moldy tub caulk, ripped carpet in our room and the Cornucopia,...

We enjoyed a relaxing stay-over for 1-night at the Devils Head Resort. The rooms are (80's decor) dated, however, the staff in the restaurant and bar area were extremely friendly. There's nothing near this property, so plan on staying put. There's an outdoor pool and 2-golf courses on site.

Overall the trip was decent, we were there on a golf trip. The 2 courses were nice except for the greens, they were terribly slow and there were a lot of burnt out greens. The food at the golf course hut was very good, burgers and brats you cannot go wrong. We had our first meal in dining room on...

We were at lose ends as out destination was booked up (Oshkosh Air Show) so at the last minute we switched to this resort. At first glance, it looks like a resort that used to be quite popular and busy. Their golf course is adjacent and the ski lift is right outside the restaurant and outdoor pool. Interior walls are...

Stayed for two weekend nights that included a golf package. The staff and servers at all meals were wonderful and friendly however the physical appearance of the buildings on the grounds have really deteriorated. Rooms were clean but average. The hallways were dark, damp and in poor condition. Outside doors leading inside were rusted, dented and beat up. Seems that...
