We (myself, husband and college aged daughter) decided to go to Milwaukee on a whim and found Hotel Metro offering a 2 bedroom suite with a great price. Hotel considered one one of the Historic Hotels of America - not sure why given the current decor and finishes. the hotel lacks any defined character. There are inconsistent Art Deco references...

The hotel has been in decline over the years. But it's a great location and the valet is great. However, we are not happy with our last visit. Horrrrrrible smells coming from the vents. We asked to be moved to a new room and asked to speak to a manager. They said we'd get a call from the manager the...

27 dollar parking valet for starters each night. Open the door to a Stench of chemicals comparable to the soap isle of a grocery store. NO DRAPES Or darkness... SLEEP IN SUNSHINE daylight!!!! Bring your own blackout curtains or suffer. Huge room... loud... key barely works in the door... struggle... Restaurant decent but not great. More smell of unpleasant bleach...

This hotel is amazing! Right away we were greeted by a cheerful desk clerk who quickly got us our keys and sent us on our way. The Art Deco details were great and the room was huge! I could have easily moved in permanently! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms that i...

We stayed here for one night in between our two destinations (Green Bay and Chicago). It has a great location and the hotel itself is quite nice, including the staff members that we encountered. Our room was pretty large with a king size bed with a couch at the foot of it to watch TV. My boyfriend really liked that...

This is my go-to hotel to stay at when in Milwaukee. I'm giving it 5 stars, because it deserves 5 stars, from the rooms, the service, the restaurant and bar on-site - everything is stellar. My ONLY complaint is the price. For a Milwaukee hotel, it's quite pricey. I wish there were some sort of deals made available. I love...

Thank you very much for your kind words!! Our rates do fluctuate based on occupancy and citywide events, its always best to call the hotel directly to see what deals (a lot of which include parking) we can offer. We hope to see you again very soon.

I had a horrible experience with them. I left my Gucci belt behind and called them immediately. Of course, it took several calls and several emails to get a response and then as you would suspect, no one found the $400 belt. They submitted a claim to their insurance company which was fruitless and now no one will return my...

Art Deco design quite funky & a treat for those Interested in architecture. Staff was helpful & friendly.

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary. Overall, it was a good experience. Since it was a Sunday night, we had the jacuzzi on the top floor to ourselves. Zen on 7 and the top floor jacuzzi were the highlights of the stay for us. Our room was as expected. One disappointment was that room service shut down an...

We stayed here last minute for our anniversary. Friendly staff at check in. We were told about the complimentary London cab and took advantage of that with a ride to Rare Steakhouse. Room was huge and clean. Hotel theme was cute. There is a nice walkway through the Pfister that comes out right by this hotel that we utilized when...
