Went there for business for 2 nights. Had to park in an adjacent parking garage and schlep my bags a long ways and then down to the front desk. Check-in person was bored and barely spoke to me. Handed me my key with barely a glance. I said thank you, and she said "yep." Hot tub

I appreciate and thank you for the time you took to share your comments about your stay. Our goal is to earn your loyalty as a return customer and I regret your experience has left you with a negative impression of our hotel and my team. Please accept my personal apology. I would hope there was some misunderstanding regarding your interaction with our front office manager. It is true that we enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy. When the manager discussed the 24-hour cancellation with you, he perceived that you understood and agreed to the charge as you acknowledged in this post. It is very standard that most branded hotels have a 24-hour cancellation policy and many have gone as far as 72-hours. That being said, we have always taken into account extenuating circumstances regarding weather or family related issues. When the $3 parking/municipal fee was discussed, he factually questioned that the State of Wisconsin would not cover a parking charge. This truly was a question with no intention to be rude. This simply has not been our experience with past guests staying under the state rate. This was the reason for his question. As far has being charged the $3 fee for two nights, this was an automatic system post due to being charge for the second night’s lodging. He did not make note of the second charge when handing you the receipt. The second parking fee could have easily been adjusted after the fact. As the majority of communities with ramps charge a parking fee, I truly regret this became an extensive negative issue during your visit. Thank you for you comment regarding the hot tub. This caused me to check our daily records of the hot tub temperature. Each date on record, the hot tub has been kept at a steady 101 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the recommended temperature of the Consumer Product Safety Commission for public hot tubs. Unfortunately, hot tub and pool temperatures are not a “one size fits all”. We keep the temperatures at the levels recommend by professional agencies that oversee public health. I truly regret you overall experience was negative. I have since attempted to reach you by phone in my effort to demonstrate the sincerity of my apology and explain what I believe to be a misunderstanding. We will continue to put our efforts towards creating a pleasurable, memorable experience for our guests. There is nothing for us to gain if we don’t work toward that goal. I hope by addressing your comments I can improve your faith in us we work to make improvements for our guests.

I spent three nights in February. This is the first motel in a very long time that I did not need to wear earplugs. The room was nice. The water pressure for the shower was very strong. Covered parking was great considering I came in during a snow storm. I was fishing

Dear Margaret, thank you for choosing to stay with us and providing a detailed review of our hotel! My team and I are pleased to see you enjoyed your "quiet" room and that you were able to get a good night's rest. I am pleased to see the parking ramp was convenient and covered your vehicle during the snowfall. I hope you were successful with your ice fishing! The next time your travels bring you to Oshkosh, we hope we have the pleasure of serving you again.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and provide comments regarding your stay. Please accept my apology that we did not meet your expectations 100%. I regret the mobility accessible shower was a distractor to your visit. There are federal requirements for ADA rooms that result in a slight difference of amenities to accommodate those guidelines. The hotel has had no issues with hot water temperature so I suspect you are referring to the extra air circulation that occurs by not having the shower curtain. Regarding the comment about trash cans, there is a second trash can under the microwave and next to the refrigerator. It is same color as the wood cabinet so it may be possible you simply did not notice it. I regret I don't completely understand your comments regarding your check and "the guy did not explain anything" or the comment regarding "the garage was not easy to get into". Since your post is anonymous, I have no way of addressing this with you for my better understanding. If you care to reach-out to me at the hotel, I would be pleased to learn the details of these other detractors so that we can work to correct these for the benefit of other guests. Thank you again for staying with us and providing your comments. I hope these concerns would not prevent you from staying with us in the future. We look forward to the opportunity of serving you again.

There is a space to pull into for temporary parking while checking in (and great for unloading the handicapped), then there is a parking ramp at the back of the building. I drive a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer (full-size SUV) and found the ground level a little cramped but the upper levels were easy enough to get in and out of. Parking was free as part of the room.

Do you have rooms that are wheelchair accessible with roll in shower
I think they do, but I would call to make sure.

I would like park a boat to launch on the lake.
We direct vehicles with trailers to the convention center surface parking lot 1/2 block to the east of the hotel. There are not electrical hook-ups but there is space to park. If you want added security, then I would suggest one of the local Marinas. The Pioneer Marina is directly on Lake Winnebago, two blocks from the hotel. 920-233-1981
