We stayed at Liberty Lodge again, and enjoyed it immensely, again. We were in Room 8, which was quiet and clean, with lovely woodwork and a nice view of the bay. The staff at LL is pleasant, helpful and efficient. The location of LL is not too close and not too far from the bit of hubbub that is downtown Sister Bay and everything it has to offer, and LL is especially close to Door County Ice Cream Factory. Yum-yum! The breakfasts at LL are delicious and filling. I ate so much each morning that I pretty much skipped lunch and just had a nice dinner at Chef's Hat, Grasse's or Summer Kitchen. Thank you Liberty Lodge for a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

This is my second visit at Liberty Lodge. It is always clean, staff is friendly, and we enjoy the location. It has a nice parking lot, healthy breakfast options, and such character. Though an older establishment it has all the amenities you would want (wifi, tv)

We had a great time. The room was very clean, historic and solid wood throughout the room and lobby too. We stayed in the Johnny Cash suite which was so fun. Continental breakfast was a good light breakfast. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio furniture.

We enjoyed our stay at Liberty Lodge. It was midweek and not overly busy in town. Road traffic was moderate. View of the water was largely obscured by the trees, but the corner room was comfortable. We appreciated the gas fireplace, couch and swivel rocking chair. Sink is in the room instead of the bath, but at least is off to the side. Breakfast is modest but adequate. Coffee maker and microwave in room. Good location relative to downtown. We would stay there again.

We loved our stay in the Alpaca Suite. We took advantage of the big porch with the cool sunset gazebo. We decided to stay away from the dinner crowd and ordered take out and had the best time eating and drinking under the gazebo while watching sail boats go by in the harbor. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The air conditioner was super quiet and efficient. The bed was perfect. We enjoyed the simple breakfast. The local cherry pastries hit the spot. We look forward to returning someday.

The rooms are spacious and the porches are made for relaxing. We were disappointed in the breakfast. It was just ok. Staff appeared to be new and were not incredibly attentive. But we would stay again for the location and the rooms.

We recently stayed at Liberty lodge for an anniversary getaway. The building is beautiful and the room was very nice. Hotel staff were pleasant to work with and gave great information on local places to go. We enjoyed the European style breakfast. The only complaint we have is that we had a hard time sleeping due to a couple of reasons. The first issue we had was the porch lights. The would come on at night and would not shut off. Our room had a transom window above the door, but there was no way to block the light coming into the room from the porch light. I mentioned it to the hotel staff and they said that there's nothing they can do because the lights come on automatically. We ended up just unscrewing the light bulb at night when we went to sleep. The second issue was with our airconditioner. When it came on it was so loud it was like a Mac Truck was running right by the bed. We stayed in Room 1.…

I stayed with a friend in early October. Our room was beautiful with a view of the lake across the road. All the proper Covid precautions were in place and the inn was so clean I tell people you could eat of the floor. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Great location too.

The Liberty Lodge is the best! This is my second weekend staying at the Lodge and it never disappoints. The staff is extremely friendly and the place is very clean as well as located perfectly in Sister Bay! I highly recommend the lodge.

This was my 4th time visiting Door County but my 1st time staying in Sister Bat and I have always wanted to stay at Liberty Lodge so I was very excited when I was able to make a reservation here! Wonderful, wonderful staff, nice simple breakfast, adorable rooms, and a beautiful view of the water. Nice and close to the downtown action but yet not too close so you still have some peace and quiet. Thank you for a memorable and great stay! 😊♥️
