Office was closed, but a staff member and family owner were fantastic. It is a bit expensive, but did have full water and sewer hookups. It is small, intimate, and extremely peaceful. That's what camping is about.

First, let me tell you about the positives. The people were nice--guests and staff. The grounds were well cared for and beautiful. It was close to fun stuff to do. The mini golf was great! Now for the negative stuff.... The parking spots were tiny....More

This must be one of the loveliest parks in the nation. That said, it comes with no cable, no wifi, and unlevel sites. The kicker is that although it's far from main roads, it's very expensive and the train comes by twice each night. Lovely...More

Stayed only one night, but got the kayaks down and paddled the Yakara River, well a little of it. Algae growth all over it and shallow with tons of water plants. Not attractive. Nice early evening paddle though , light breeze. Campground is well cared...More
