I was a bit disturbed reading about what others have said about this particular motel because my experience was just the opposite. Having grown up in Tomahawk across the river from this motel, I never had reason to stay there until now, following the death of my mother in September. We asked to see a room on a visit when...

We ( family of 5) were excited to stop in Tomahawk for a few events we were attending in the area. When I called 6 days before our night stay to book, I was told that there were no rooms available for the night. 3 days later we called again and Lucy answered and stated that there was a room....

have visited many times last 5 years and until last year all was well. Owner passed and woman in charge does not pay attention to the rooms: no fresh towels/wash cloths daily. Some days the beds are not made. Some mornings there are no cups for coffee. Dogs are now allowed which is offensive. do not inforce no smoking in...

Not impressed with this hotel. As soon as you walk in the Cigarette Smell hits you. It's like a mix between stale cigarettes and old person home. The lady at the front desk is pretty surly. We arrived at 2:30 (check in is at 3). I had been told on the phone when we placed the reservation that if our...

The hotel is beautiful!! The view of the river is very appealing. We enjoyed staying out on the patio. The room was very large with room for our huskies. Nice and clean. Convenient location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We even stayed an extra night!!

The room was nice enough, and the location is nice, but they have a tacit acceptance of smoking in their rooms. The room was neat in a north woods style and did not smell bad, but the bathroom in the room had been smoked in A LOT, and it was the only room offered to us. We should have looked...

Stayed one night and didn't want to leave. Slide outs to the little patio's were wonderful. We were able to sit out and drink our wine while looking at the beautiful water with the sunset. You have a stunning location. The rooms were very nice, we loved the rustic rough cut wood in the rooms. Very nice. Was nice to...

Stayed at the Bridge Inn for one night while on a motorcycle trip. I was very pleased with the room. It is not fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. Nice view of the water from all the rooms, and a nice patios to sit outside on a nice night.

Stayed in this hotel for fishing trips since the late 70's. after 20 years the place got so run down that we stopped going. Was in town this week, stopped by and asked fot a tour. The old family owners have died. Andy still runs the bar/food, and his brother now runs the hotel. They are cleaning and remodeling and the...

Went to Tomahawk for an ice fishing trip. Having never been to the area we found this hotel because it's on the main strip. Very friendly owners. Sure the rooms are dated (TV's, bathroom fixtures...) but to our group this wasn't a big deal. Price was good. The room was clean and the heat and plumbing worked well. They do...
