Just had two nights at the Craig Park Guest House.....what can I say. The owners Kaye and Billy were the ideal hosts and the hospitality they provided was first class with a huge breakfast provided which sets you up for the rest of the day. The guest house has a fantastic location, situated in the small village of Caldercruix it is a 5 minute walk to the railway station which has regular trains running to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. A brilliant guest house in the countryside with great access to the biggest two cities in Scotland

Kay & Billy are fantastic hosts with a fantastic B&B. They had thought of everything and nothing was too much trouble - even my strange request for no butter on my bagel but wanted ketchup with smoked salmon! We’ll be back!

Firstly the hosts, Kay (the boss) and Billy are lovely warm people. They are more than happy to help in any way they can. The room itself had superb facilities and there was everything you could wish for and more. A lot of personal touches and treats a plenty. The location is amazing with the train station on the doorstep running every 20 mins to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Breakfast was on another level. Plenty of fresh produce and the perfect poached egg with salmon for myself. My Husband had the full Scottish and even though we are trying to abstain from overeating could not help having a home made scone. Better that a lot of established hotels we have stayed in. We will be back.... We are ready to book again to take advantage of the close proximity to Loch Lomond and Stirling.
