The Kings Inn Cody Hotel (aside from the lobby - more on that in a moment) is your average run of the mill hotel. The interior of the rooms is a bit dated, but there is a lot of space in the room, so no concerns about feeling cramped, even if you have a lot of luggage. The bed was...

The lobby of this hotel is very unique. The owner must be a big game hunter. The lobby is well appointed with diaramas and mounts of wild animals from Africa, including Rhino, lions, gazelles, leopard, crocodile, elephant, zebra and more. They include an expanded continental breakfast that was fine. My wife didn't appreciate the stuffed animals, but it was really...

The good stuff: Delightful, African-themed foyer and visiting area. Price, more than warranted by the facility, included breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were a hit, Parking was close to room, but required a hike up the stairs. Linens and amenities were good and cleanliness acceptable. Downside was the cramped bathroom, aging furnishings, less than professional maintenance and an old low toilet...

This hotel was very vlean and comfortable. Continental breakfast, free wifi and parking was kncluded in the room rate. It was right across the road from Applebees restaurant. The lobby was full of stuffed african animals not sure i liked that but eavh to their own. They had a laundry for guests. We booked this on the day.

We stayed there for two nights. We liked the hotel, staffs were friendly and nice. The interior of the hotel has great example of Taxidermy. We personally liked it. It is a small town, close to fast food centers and few restaurants. The only cons was it is little far, around 90 miles from the main tourist attractions of Yellowstone....

We enjoyed our room in this hotel -- clean, comfortable. Bathroom area was cramped. Pool was very nice for my exercise. Laundry facilities were useful. Offered iron and ironing board were laughable--huge iron, table-top ironing board. Breakfast was adequate but seating was among African trophy animals -- a bit strange. Front desk personnel were very helpful. Wish there had been...

We were greeted by indifferent and unhelpful staff. I think overworked. Rooms were of the nature of a rapid turnover motel, worn but clean. Our carpet had iron burns. No elevator so not a place for people who have any kind of issue dragging suitcases up a flight of stairs. Breakfast was okay, good biscuits and gravy.

Nice. Clean. Friendly. Good breakfast. What more could you ask for? The price was a little high but I guess you pay for all the stuffed African big game animals they display. So if your the PETA type, you may want to avoid this hotel.

we stayed here on our way to Yellowstone NP; room was comfortable and reasonably equipped; the highlight however was the lobby which was full of stuffed big game- an elephants head, crocodile, zebra etc; added a certain ambience to breakfast !

Lobby was great. Life sized animals all around. Sat in the lobby to facetime the grandkids, they loved it. Rooms were nice and big. Breakfast was typical. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue was no elevator. I suggest you pack lightly for a stay here if your on the second floor

Thank Danny P
