My husband and I stayed at the ranch last week and loved every second of it. In some ways it is like stepping back in time to rustic western days. Our cabin was updated and clean sitting next the the stream running through the ranch. Very relaxing and all stress of everyday life just disappeared. Food was very good. We... More

I went on a family reunion trip to HF Bar Ranch. Our ages were between 4 and 73. There was plenty to do for everyone and lots of places to lounge around and do absolutely nothing. The views are spectacular, the service is great, and the HF Bar really provides a place to unplug and relax. We were told on... More

Our thirteen member family spent a week playing, communicating and relaxing at the ranch. We have been to another dude ranch and therefore have some basis of comparison. This ranch is children friendly with riding schedules that fit everyone's ability. Normal rides are scheduled in the mornings and evenings, leaving the afternoon open. Non riding activities include fly fishing, skeet... More

Went once back in the 80's and loved it so much I have been back EVERY YEAR since and will be there again in 2016!! Talk about class, THE ROADKILL RANGERS, got to love that name, are the reason I am back EVERY year. Love that band with two original members from the 80's. Jon on guitar and Ron on... More

After arriving back home to the city, hearing the honking horns and seeing the aggressive driving I dream of my return to HF Bar Ranch. My adventure was short but incredibly relaxing and fun filled. My cabin was clean and well appointed. The cabin girls did a great job each day and even turned on the electric bed warmers in... More

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens- age 15 & 18) just returned from a 5 night stay at the ranch. I was looking for a family trip that would suit us all, knowing that not everyone was into horse riding but wanting an adventure. This trip mostly fit the bill. The good: the ranch is fabulously laid back... More

This was our first time at HF Bar Guest Ranch and I felt it necessary to write a review about our experience. I am writing this while I am still on the ranch so that I make sure not to miss anything in this review. I’ll post it as soon as I leave. Let me start by saying that we... More

we spent a few nights here, i only rode one day, and am not experienced so cannot really comment on the riding facilities for experienced riders. we had a large cabin, very quirky and fun, ( the whole ranch is dotted with cabins, so your accommodation is private away from main ranch house. all of us loved the ranch, the... My mom staged a family reunion at the HF Bar that involved 19 people from ages 5 to 75, and it was a HUGE success on every level. Despite some reservations about heading to such a horse-centric resort, riding proved to be the perfect equalizer. Every one could participate, no real expertise was needed, and it was a fabulous way... More

My family has been going to the HF Bar Ranch for over 30 years and it is the only place on earth that turns my stomach to butterflies when we are getting close to the front gate. It's the ideal place for a family vacation or a family reunion. In fact, there was a family reunion of over 30 people... More
