If you like motels with true personality, you will love the Rainbow Motel. Yes it is older, but the upkeep has been great with loving care from owner's who care about what they offer the public. My room had great western artwork, a beautiful log bed that was comfy firm with pillows that were just right for me (added support,... More

First time visit to Thermopolis and the first interaction with a local was awful. For fear of being charged a cancellation fee I didn't turn and walk out the door. Customer service wasn't just poor it was downright rude. As far as the room I'd say it was quite overpriced. Clean enough in the important spots like the bed but... More

Overall not bad. Could really use new pillows tho! Biggest complaint very rude at check in! Tempted to turn around & walk out along with the rest of our party who had booked 2 other rooms. Wouldn't stay here again. Air conditioner also very noisy!

This place is a dump for $150 a night. They charged us a deposit for our two puppies; I'm just happy our pups have had all their shots. The bed was comfortable, hence the one circle rating. This place doesn't need updating it needs to be scraped and rebuilt.

I've been to some of the motels in Thermopolis and this one is older but clean compared to the other ones. Was surprised to hear what the daily rate was (a little high for me) but I would definitely call around and check other places to compare. You'll see that the Rainbow Motel is nicer and right across the street... More

I have stayed here several times over the years. The rooms have been updated since I last stayed a few years ago. There are many nice properties in the area but this one is perfect for someone that is passing through to use the hot springs and just wants a nice clean room for the night.

Spent two days in Thermopolis. Was on a cross country trip and needed a couple of days to recharge, do some laundry, and rest. Was on a motorcycle trip. Checkin person was friendly enough, but I refuse to let anyone "copy" my drivers license. There is no legal reason or justification for this. I have no problem showing them for... More

Keep in mind, we love well-run family motels, particularly those with vintage charm. This place has the vintage without the charm. Pros: Location convenient; wifi included; very clean room with plenty of towels; pleasant staff. Cons: poor ventilation unless you count the badly fit windows and doors. Outdated electrical. Big closet but it stank and made our stuff stink too.... More

I hate to leave a bad review since the lady in the front desk was so nice to us, but we paid $100 for one night. This hotel is nowhere near worth that amount, but it was midnight and it was the last room in town available, so we were desperate and they took advantage. I agree with a previous... More

This room was not even worth $20 a night, let alone $100 a night! We feel like the owner is literally committing highway robbery. This business will be turned in to the Better Business Bureau. The ceiling was water damaged and the bathroom had no ventilation to the outside. To its credit, the swamp cooler worked well.
