Our family spent two enjoyable nights here in rooms 7 and 8. Both had room air conditioners, which we used due to the high humidity. Gorgeous views of the ocean from both rooms. The sunrise was spectacular. Room 7 was larger and had a Jacuzzi tub in a bay window overlooking the palm trees and ocean. The rooms were spotless...

I'm torn between 4 & 5 stars because I loved it here, but it is actually quite pricey. We arrived very late in the evening and though I suspected we had an ocean view because I could hear waves, I couldn't see it until the morning. Our keys were waiting for us at the door, which was a relief. The...

We loved our stay and understood why it was rated as a romantic place. The room was lovely, with a great bed, and plenty of room in the bathroom/shower. The view was beautiful. Breakfast was served on the lanai and it was some of the best breakfast we've had from a B&B. Each morning, we had fruit juice, coffee, tea,...

We spent two nights at the Palms Cliff House Inn. We booked room #7 which had a air conditioner that we used. The room was beautiful and so were the grounds. Sitting on our balcony looking out over the ocean was a treat. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed visiting with the others guests. We would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful old victorian plantation house converted to a Bed and Breakfast. The views are nothing short of spectacular! We fell asleep to the waves crashing below our balcony. The owner was a bit stiff on arrival, but recovered in a big way at breakfast. The breakfast was great, as were the amenities: a library of free DVD...

The inn was nice but missing lots of luxury touches that you would expect at this price range, e.g., free bottled water in room, flat screen TV, decent water pressure in shower, robes in room, and shower cap. The breakfast was over rated but their physical plant, grounds and location were outstanding.

This review only needs a single word description "HEAVEN"! But, I'll add a little bit more. The Palms Cliff House Inn is a beautiful and tranquil property. A little bit of a drive from Hilo, but easy to find. Perfect for adults who just want to get away and enjoy each other in a quiet and peaceful paradise. The owners...

We selected the Palms Cliff House knowing what the price was. We picked out our room from the Internet photos, which were quite accurate. Cheers: The setting & the view were terrific. Our patio was very private & roomy. Our flight arrived after dark. We did not stop for dinner, so we were DELIGHTED to find a room where we...

Stayed for 4 nights in Oct 2012: Pros: - Nice location on a cliff overlooking the ocean, but location nothing special for an ocean front property - Property well maintained, you can see that the owner couple are in it with their whole heart. - Nice rooms - Internet during stay (regardless of nights) only 20$ - Very cheerful female...

We arrived to Palms Cliff House for the second half of our honeymoon, after four nights of luxury on the west side of the island. We couldn't have been happier upon our cross over to the rainforest paradise that is the east side of Hawaii. Palms Cliff House was pricey for sure (we paid $1,000 for three nights, and we're...
