Petra sat down with us and gave us detailed maps and helped plan the day. This location is very close to the lava viewing. We recomend doing the bike and shuttle without a guide....

We booked the Lanai suite for our family of 5. It was the perfect layout for our needs. The kitchenette was a nice bonus. The location to the beaches and in particular, the lava tour boat launch was a huge bonus. Hale Moana is definitely away from the town so you benefit from the tranquility but are still close enough...

Our room was very clean with a large closet and plenty of room to store our belongings. Our hostess Petra was very helpful in...

Our family of 4 stayed at Hale Moana 4 nights. The location is in an isolated, peaceful area, 10-15 minute drive from Pahoa and several east-side attractions. This is a great place to get away from the resorts and tourists. Petra was so welcoming and the breakfasts were fantastic, especially the fresh fruit.
