We recently stayed one night in the garden room. The room was huge and had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. We had a great view of the lovely grounds of the B & B. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed delicious fresh baked cookies on the afternoon we checked in. The B & B was...

The main reason we came to the Big Island was to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, so this was a great find in Volcano Village. The breakfasts were wonderful. We stayed 4 nights and had a different breakfast each day - waffles, french toast, pancakes, sausage - all delicious. One of our favorite things was meeting people from all over...

Super quiet, private and no fuss accommodation, with really nice beddings and heating blankets in beds if needed. Breakfast was family style and sumptuous; get to know your fellow travellers at this time. Ambience like a B&B and Hostel - I liked this.

Nice place and good breakfast. I hope that we can stay there for a few days next time. It's very close to the vacanol national park (only five mins drive). Robert prepares everything for travelers even the jacket and blankets we can use during the cold night.

This place is perfect place to stay. We stayed two days to visit Volcanos National Park. Roberts breakfasts were a great way to start the day if you were like us and going to hike the Kilauea Iki Trail or one of the other trails!!!

We had a nice stay in the Pele suite on our visit to Volcano National Park. The adjoining room was nice and bright. The breakfast, especially the waffles, was delicious. The setting was amazingly quiet and very convenient to the park. It was great having a place to go after viewing the night glow of the crater.

This being my first time in Hawaii, I could not have asked for a better B&B on a budget in Volcano, Hi. This quaint and comfortable spot in the rainforest is the perfect place to stay if you're traveling with a partner or friend, and are looking for a breakfast included option. Although not romantic in the traditional sense, it...

We have been to the Aloha Junction about 5 times. Each time it's like coming Home to an Old Friend. Robert always seems to make sure everything is just right. We were allowed to check in early this last time. Rooms are nicely appointed and cozy. Beautiful covered deck from our room to watch the afternoon downpour... The breakfast at...

This was a great place to stay near the Volcanoes National Park. The four rooms are sweetly decorated, and the breakfast was first-rate. Lots of nice extra touches and amenities. Robert is very accommodating and aims to please. We would definitely recommend this B&B.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Aloha Junction B&B is located in Volcano Village just behind the Post Office noted for proximity to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park 1 mile away and restaurants in town. Guests also enjoy the 1930's old plantation structure providing five spaciousness rooms and electric blankets for those chilly nights in the rainforest. In addition free parking and well attended-to children are welcome. Each room has it's own coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave but best of all are Robert's breakfasts. One of his specialties are the Papaya-banana boats with macadamia-nut pancakes. After spending time in this "Drive-in" style National Park, most people want to include some evening time to walk out to the overlook of Halemaumau Crater ~ which convinces even the strongest skeptics that Kilauea is an active volcano. ... more   less
