Solid four star place, probably best in area but NOT offering five star comforts. Nice rooms....okay, (but not the most) comfortable beds, gas fireplace, functional (but not fancy) bathroom (shower pressure comes and goes). All in all a good (and I am guessing best in area) place but don't arrive with high hopes like I did based upon price and...

We've visted Kilauea Lodge several times over the years, having stayed in the Lodge rooms, the Plantation house, and the Pi'i Mauna house, on multiple occasions(with another couple) whenever we go up from Kona to see the latest from Pele and the volcano. This time, we were again in Pi'i Mauna with our daughter, her husband, and 6 year old...

We enjoyed our stay at Kilauea Lodge. It was very comfortable and the food was quite good. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even prepared a "to go "breakfast for our early trip into the park. Their close proximity to the park was ideal.

We first stayed at the lodge in 2000 and liked it so much we returned for two days on our recent trip. As you can see, the lodge has become very well known. First, let me recommend that you plan at least one overnight in Volcano rather than driving round trip from the west coast. Hilo is close, but not...

Pi'i Mauna House was great. Hot soak under a night sky with so many stars it was hard to find the constellations. And quiet, OMG. Delicious meals at Kilauea Lodge, unique gift shop, and everyone in the office was so friendly and kind. We had several special requests during our stay, and all were met with "yes". I've stayed at...

After an adventurous day of helio flying over the lava flow and an up close and personal lava boat view of the lava's ocean entry, what a joy to refresh in the well appointed cottage at Kilauea Lodge and conclude the day with a delectable meal. A comfortable nights sleep and a tasty complementary breakfast started us off on a...

Upon checking in we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. The room was clean and comfortable. At night it was very quiet there. The complementary breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location of the lodge to the volcano national park is just a few minutes away.

We stayed here two nights in Mid-January. It is located very close to the entrance to Volcano National Park. Our room was big with a comfortable bed. We enjoyed the hot tub before dinner the first night. It was clean and the water chemistry seemed good (no chlorine smell). Be sure to eat at the lodge. The food is good...

We stayed in TuTu's Cottage on a quick visit to volcano. My husband and I had the king sized bedroom and my daughter and her husband shared the double, and my younger daughter slept in the twin in the same room. While that might seem like close quarters, the cottage felt roomy. It is very charming, with a full size...
