We enjoyed the unit and watched the sunsets each night from the balcony. Townhouse unit on two levels. Units were quiet and close to the pool area. We went to beaches in the Kona area. Most were just 15-30 minutes away. Hilo was about 90 minutes. You will enjoy the stay if you

Booked three 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condos three years ago to take my family to Hawaii to celebrate my 60th birthday together. Paniolo Greens helped me do just that. Great resort, amazing staff, clean condos and everything in working order. No complaints here and would

The property is very well maintained they were repaving the parking lot at the time and we all had to park in another spot but they did it so fast it wasn’t inconvenient. Turkeys roam all over and are fun to watch. Nice full size fridge and stove and close to the local grocery

We have been owners for over a decade and this was my 5th visit. Paniolo Greens is more of a comfortable place from which to explore the Big Island than a resort. Yes, it has a pool, small workout room, tennis court, and sits adjacent to a high quality golf course, but it

We had a thoroughly wonderful week at Paniolo Greens. None of our family golf, but the location of the resort is ideal for Kona Coast exploration and enjoying all things Hawaiian. Every morning we sat on the deck to enjoy the coffee and were entertained by turkeys and nenes

I stayed in Building K first floor, and it does face the ocean. First floor barely sees the ocean. You must be on the top floor to see ocean for most part, as there are trees to look over. Sounds like you have been there before? As for renovation, I don't know what was there before but our unit was clean and serviceable, not fancy, but in good shape. Hope that helps.

Are there any resort or cleaning fees?
Same as the others that have answered, we didn't have any additional fees beyond what we paid from our booking.

None that I know of. With so much to drive to for sight seeing, I would recommend a rental car. There are many rental companies at the Kona airport

We stayed in I-104 which was a ground floor 2 bedroom unit. I couldn't say for sure it was an updated unit, but it was very nice. No damaged furniture, walls, or flooring. Had a flat screen 40-42 inch tv. The counters were not granite. The electric range and full size refrigerator were not that old, maybe a couple of years old. The beds were clean and comfortable. Loads of cabinet space. Always quiet at night. It's a great place in my opinion. I could live there.
