Good place for the family. lagoon is nice for the kids to snorkel. there are usually turtles they can see up close. property is gigantic, like really big. almost a determinant that you have to walk a mile to go to anything. rooms are average, but the price is a decent value for what you get. take the family here,...

This is the 4th time I have stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa and it won't be the last! I've been 3 times in the Ocean Towers and this last trip in the Palace (WOW!! 7th floor, ocean view...doesn't get much better than this! However, my goal is to stay in the Lagune Tower!!). Anyway, this is one of those incredible...

Aloha Corie C, We're absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful stay with us and that you enjoyed the new Palace Tower accommodations. You definitely will need to check out the Makai at Lagoon Tower experience on your next visit, too. It's terrific that you had a chance to explore the trails at the resort and that...

If you like losing an hour or more of your day to use the onsite transportation, love stairs without handrails, poor food choices at high prices and a setting more devoted to impressing it'self rather than it's guest..this might be the spot for you. There were individual amazing staff. The setting was beautiful AND it is not guest centered. It...

Beautiful location, clean rooms, nice artwork, great swimming pool...would have been a nice trip if you didn't have to pull out your credit card and pay "movie theater" prices for prices for every little thing imaginable. I did not expect this to be an all-inclusive resort by any means, but having stayed in hundreds of hotels over the yrs- I...

This amazing resort has beach access, views of the mountains and ocean. The pools are amazing for kids and adults. waking up to hear the ocean is amazing. Local shopping is a fantastic way to avoid some of the costs of the food ob property.

We stayed here for a week as part of a conference I was speaking at. Our initial room was not desirable with only a golf course view and small with two queen beds (instead of the King requested) and the team (including the General Manager) were able to correct this which made our stay so much more enjoyable to be...

I agree with others, avoid the ocean tower if you can, but the many pools and lagoon are really where you are spending your time on the property anyways. Check in took forever, even through the HHonors desk. All of the staff we encountered were quite friendly and helpfull. Plan to walk or not be in a hurry, the trams...

Check In... long lines HH line was longer and slower than regular line and the staff did nothing to resolve. Weird but ok. We finally get to an agent. We are all checked in and she says to us you are in the Palace Tower with a garden view. We inform her we reserved an ocean view. She proceeds to...

Great Location! Centrally located on the big Island. Less than 20 miles from Kona airport. Excellent service, easy access to the beach, golf courses and numerous outdoor activities. Very relaxing environment. 45 min drive to Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa mountains. 90 minute drive to Volcano National Park. Priceless views along any drive from the hotel.

Last night I ordered a glass of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay, and a glass of Edmeades zin from one of the best (most expensive) restaurants on site. Being from Sonoma County I'm quite familiar with both wines. I gotta tell you something is just not right - either they switched the bottle or both bottles had been open for weeks - worst...
