We just returned from our two week vacation on Kauai where we spent our first three nights at the Kauai Country Inn in the Plumeria Suite. This was our 9th visit to the island and we wish we had found this place sooner. The peace and quiet were just what we needed to unwind from our hectic lives and start...

We stayed in the Green Rose Suite from April 18 - 22 and had a fantastic time. The suite is gigantic and very well decorated...tons of personal touches everywhere. We loved falling asleep in total quiet and being woken up early by the roosters. We found the location of the inn to be perfect - about halfway between the north...

We stayed in the Green Rose suite and loved it. Mike and Martina are warm friendly people and try hard to make your visit pleasurable. If we needed something the maid was there in the mornings early and she was very quick to get you anything you needed. We were there 2 weeks and had a well equipped kitchen with...

Thanks for reminding us about the water pressure - we've just ordered a water pump that should help the issue :-) The hot tub was damaged in the last storm and we are awaiting parts that have to be shipped from the mainland. One of the inconveniences of living in the most isolated island group on the planet is that...

My wife and I just returned from our trip to Kauai, and our wonderful stay at Kauai Country Inn. We went to the island primarily to hike the Kalalau trail, and so had only booked a suite at Kauai Country Inn for the second half of our trip. Upon arrival and getting our rental car, we searched for a hotel...

We stayed five days in the Green Rose Suite. Although there were other guests at the Inn, we felt we were there by ourselves, and enjoyed the privacy. Green Rose is spacious, and has a well-equipped kitchen (I think the oven is ready to be repaired or replaced. The problem came up at an inconvenient time, I only used it...

I want to sing the praises of the Kauai Country Inn. My boyfriend and I and two of our friends stayed there from Feb 8th thru Feb 11th. They are located in Kapaa up in the hills. Our accommodations were wonderful. We rented the Plumeria Suite. This can be rented as a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom. The bedrooms are beautiful. The...

This was our first trip to Kauai to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Booking the stay was easy on the inn's website which was informative and accurate. The posted pictures only hinted at how good the place actually is. I chose this place as Frommers gave it a great rating for quality and value. The drive from Lihue airport takes ~15...

There is one highway road that circles the whole island. In Kapaa, you head towards the middle of the island and work your way in towards Kauai Country Inn. This is a 12 minute drive in and the first time we did it from the airport we were freaking out. I thought " my god, how far is it "....

My husband and I stayed in the Plumeria Suite @ Kauai Country Inn for 7 nights. The suite was spacious and had some nice amenities such as the internet, boogie boards, beach chairs etc. These amenities did not make up for the HARD bed, the sounds of the people upstairs (them walking, talking, having sex) and the biggest upset of...

We are sorry that the guests did not enjoy their stay. It would however, have been helpful if the couple had voiced their concerns during their 10 day stay. We actually did perform the Marriage Ceremony for this couple, and frequently spoke to them at length; so we are a little shocked that they would say nothing at the time...

You know that feeling of dread you get when you're about to drive up to a place that you booked online, and you know it can't really be as good as the website made it look? Well, the Kauai Country Inn is every bit as good and a whole lot better than we were expecting. My husband and I stayed...
