We booked this hotel through Worldwide Travel Services at an exceptionally low cost. Anticipated a good vacation, but experienced a hotel which we deem excellent. On the beach with accomodations of room, pool and surrounding amenities beyond what we had previously experienced on Kauii.
After reading reviews prior to my departure, I was unsure what to expect. Upon arrival I was amazed at how beautiful the grounds were. I read so many reviews about how the beach was not usable or swim friendly. Those were not true to myself...More

Room was full of black mould. The inside of the fridge contained old food and was not cleaned. The counters were slimy and dirty. There were rat droppings on the gutter drain run-offs outside of the room. Disgusting hotel room.

There are at least 3 places close by that rent snorkels and masks by the day or week. One is in the building right to the west side of the Hotel entry. Prices very reasonable - especially by the week. You can get bikes that way too and that's a great way to get around on the East side of the Island. You can rent Kayaks too. Cost is a few dollars a day depending on the type you rent. Go Snooba diving. There's a place on the South side where you use snorkel gear but have a tank follow you on the surface. (And a trained diver.) Doesn't require training and you can get down 15' and stay down. Highly recommend it if you like to dive but aren't trained in Scuba. Cost about $75 per hour per person.
