My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on vacation. The longer we stayed, the more we realized the hotel has the same atmosphere and personality as the island of Kauai. Not all the amenities and activities of our favorite Maui hotel, but nice...More

There are at least 3 places close by that rent snorkels and masks by the day or week. One is in the building right to the west side of the Hotel entry. Prices very reasonable - especially by the week. You can get bikes that way too and that's a great way to get around on the East side of the Island. You can rent Kayaks too. Cost is a few dollars a day depending on the type you rent. Go Snooba diving. There's a place on the South side where you use snorkel gear but have a tank follow you on the surface. (And a trained diver.) Doesn't require training and you can get down 15' and stay down. Highly recommend it if you like to dive but aren't trained in Scuba. Cost about $75 per hour per person.
