We needed a relatively affordable overnight option and this did the job (though in Kauai, even "affordable" is too much money). It's not a resort though. You have to drive through shipping zone but once you're there, the territorial views from room and pool are quite pleasant. Pool was too cold in February (I wish they'd use a solar cover...

We came into Kauai late and decided to stay near the airport before we set out for our VRBO on the west side the next day. Service was great - people friendly. The property is dated but was functional for an over night.

First up- this is not a fancy resort like what you would find in Poipu or Princeville. It's an old, family-owned and operated inn. This is the perfect place for those who are in Kauai to explore and experience the island and need a place to crash at the end of the day. It's clean and safe. Grounds are well...

We spent Thanksgiving night there and the next. It's an older property by the port with trucks being loaded off the ships all day and into the night. The beeping goes on and on. It is also by a park close to the small boat harbor. At 3:00 in the morning partiers were talking loudly and driving off playing loud...

Has an "out of the way" - "in the middle of nothing" feel, even though it is really close to town. Grounds are welcoming. Rooms are nice - kepmt and inviting. People are friendly. If you need some time away from it all, this is definitely a good option.

We flew into Lihue the night before checking into our condo rental, so we needed a hotel for just one night. I would recommend the Kauai Inn for a one night stay, but not for much longer. The room was clean and furnished well, but on the smallish side. The one thing missing was an in-room coffee maker, which I...

When I saw this hotel featured on "Hotel Impossible" I thought I was in for a nasty stay, BUT the hotel is clean, everybody is very friendly, and the front desk was quite acommodating when I requested a room change (for the view). My room had a small microwave and refrigerator. The only two negatives I have are the continental...

Friends and I stayed here a couple of nights after being at a resort for a week. The staff was very helpful, large continental breakfast. Beautiful grounds, BBQ, near the Harbor. The Inn was nicely restored after the Hurricane, but still had the old school charm. Would definitely stay here again, Mahalo!

This place is quite welcoming, very beautiful surrounding. They maintain the place very well. Room was clean with a modern touch. Had a microwave and fridge in the room, but there is a communal kitchen where there are more appliances to use. Staff are every welcoming. We arrived well before check in and they allowed us to lock away our...

Nostalgic but so well kept & clean. Beautiful foliage. Awesome swimming pool & surrounding area.. Extremely friendly staff & very economically priced. Centrally located to the pier, ocean, beach, restaurants and shopping.
