The room was adequate, yet outdated in many respects. The staff was very friendly. It is right in the heart of Lanai City within walking distance of stores, but everything in Lanai City is within walking distance. I guess we could have stayed in one of Mr. Ellison's $1500 - $3500 per night rooms instead. :-)

Hotel Lanai is a special place if you like historic places to stay. It is small but very charming. Rooms vary in size and we had one of the smallest but the bed was comfortable and place was clean. Only criticism is that there is no furniture on the front porch and no lobby. Dining tables and chairs take up...

We stayed for the 3rd time in room 11, the cottage. First thing we noticed, no Hawaiian quilt on the bed, in room snacks for purchase along with cold beverages in the fridge. Ok things change, no big deal. Next up, no furniture on the shared porch. Breakfast, such as it is, is now served off the small bar in...

As long as you're not looking for anything over the top extravagant, then this hotel is perfectly small. We had a fabulous time with the live band Friday night, close proximity to town center and Dole Park, and simple, included breakfast buffet. Service was great. We stayed in the cottage, and it was amazing. Highly recommend booking that room if...

My girlfriend and I loved this hotel! Beds were comfy, staff was friendly, and the restaurant was amazing! Best truffle fries ever! We only stayed one night but would definitely recommend and stay again.

If you are looking for the glitz or luxury of the Four Seasons, this is not the place for you. But if you prefer a more low key, comfortable, quaint historical place for way less money, this is the place for you. It's up in the pines of Lanai City and was very comfortable, a short walk into town, and it...

Great food, nice live music, friendly attentive service, wonderful atmosphere...what more could one want? We really enjoyed our dinner. The prices are a little high but it is an upscale place. I had the grilled vegetables and they were very tasty.

Such a quaint and historical place. Staff is attentive; rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed in two front lanai rooms. It was wonderful to have an outside area. Restaraunts has great food. Friday nights there is a band until 11ish. Yes, you can hear it everywhere in the hotel but it is part of the ambiance. I highly recommend...

There aren't a lot of options for places to stay on Lanai, but the Hotel Lanai is fantastic. We called in advance and were able to book the cottage. This had a private entrance with a large patio sorrow dead by a large hedge. There is a very comfy lounge for two and a picnic table. The room is fantastic....
